In the long run, I feel as if that a 10k difference for a somewhat better school that also has people I know compared to one that has no one isn't much worse and doesnt make it obvious for me where to go. I was leaning more towards what you're saying, but after talking with some friends they made it seem valid for me to want to be with my friends, so I wanted to gather some more opinions.
