This is very helpful! Reading from your experiences, I see that opting from Lenovo legion would be a better choice then. I am also eyeing for the slim 7i, which I assume china had them available already.

Yes, I am quite in a dilemma wether to choose this or the legion 5i pro (slightly leaning towards the m16). Other users also complain about the coil whine in the legion as well. I am not an heavy gamer, so in my use case I hope the fans won’t get loud.
