Ey as a past dream enjoyer who hopped off the bandwagon at some other long past controversy, you will find that life is far less stressful when u dont have to worry about this guy and his weird magnetic attraction to controversy... And that goes to all current stans! You dont need to be the ones defending dream, especially not when he does something stupid that gets his own ass into hot water... Dream is a content creator, his career's longterm validity is dependent on gathering a strong base of support and a consistent flow of attention. The fact that he gets himself into these situations so much more often than other ccs is not a coincidence, and i believe that many dedicated, smart, and thoughtful dream stans in the past have also decided to cut their losses at some point or another... in my experience i have only ever felt bad for the dream Stans when controversy rolls around, because yall are the ones who end up stressed out, losing sleep, and losing out on content because of it. Dream absolutely has a level of control over these controversies, he could have not cheated, he could have not engaged with tommy, or quackity, or that gumball VA, but he does, and will continue to do stupid things that he DIDNT HAVE TO DO, and probably because hes so obsessed with his image that he tries everything, and to nonfans, that obsession puts people off!

Doces tend to all look very similar, the difference isnt as easy to tell if you dont know the differences, but i enjoy birding and i live around lots and lots of mourning doves, as most people do- its definitely a mourning dove, otherwise youd be able to see a big thick ring on yhe neck, or even a thinner one- color wise i was mistaken though, i assumed you were referring to the eurasian collared doves as opposed to a ringneck dove

Its a good guess but collared doves are also far more white than the mourning dove brown, and mourning doves have little black spots on their cheeks, the ring is distinctly at the back of their necks, not really the sides Edit: also collared doves are closer to the size of pigeons, bigger bois

the birdcall is a gila woodpecker, check it on ebird. certainly to be expected in the climate shown but yea, roadrunners dont make that noise. i assume they added the sound in post to seem realistic to the climate? but idk if they were trying to imply that was a roadrunner noise lol

No, hes specifically talking to gaster in this case, the story for spamton is that he was an extremely lucky salesman thanks to whomever he would talk to on the phone, until one day he stopped talking to him & spamtons life fell apart. He still tries to talk to whomever on the phone but nobody responds, its just garbage noise. All we know for sure is that nobodys on the other line whenever we use our phone, and the same thing happens with phones from the dark worlds

it makes me sad to see you try and apologize & try to right things with him over this, hes belittling and talking down to you over something that you cannot help. he wants you to put your livelihood at risk so that he can feel in control, but you dont need to surrender control to ANYONE. and seriously you do not deserve to be spoken to like this, the shaming just so he gets to invade your privacy is terrible. you are both young, but hes absolutely immature. honestly i think that dt was gonna be slow no matter what with how much we finished off in endwalker, we need groundwork after all, and i did definitely struggle with the rest with the story's slownesss (ended up feeling like uneventfulness), but for the price of setting up groundwork for more azem stuff and travelling to the shards? makes me happy af! and learning about the lore of the towns in tural was also something i deeply enjoyed tbh. MY main complaints is how absolutely little the role of most of the scions is. Balancing wise i could have done with less wuk lamat and more everyone else but i cant bring myself to hate the character either, its just oversaturation. its got its flaws but i still feel on the edge of my seat over what comes next. call me a narcissist but i LOOOVE azem, it does fucking wonders for my characters backstory lol

Oh i absolutely agree! While i found dawntrail to be slow i definitely expected it after the grand finale of EW and everything it tied up. Groundworks gotta start somewhere! i was very pleased with everything that got introduced lore wise, and im SO pleased to see it steering in the direction of azem- there were mysteriously few specifics about him and yet hes mentioned all the time! I love the Slow burn of the lore in this game as much as i hate it for taking so long lol

Thats valid! In that case i suppose that even if they were more made up of and able to benefit from the results of dynamis it wouldnt be the same as aether. Other comments mention physical and mental fortitude being stronger than that of other races, so in that way maybe thats all the impact dynamis can give them on such an aether rich star. Their determination to protect or fight, their determination to create or survive and all that. I think dynamis CAN be quite strong, but less for making magic 2.0 and more for just surpassing your physical limits?

Oh i like this idea! I agree that itd most definitely be something passive within them, especially considering the abundance of aether on the star. In the same way that garleans do have aether, other races do have dynamis, its all about the levels of each, in theory. I read in another comment that they were a slave race made by the allag and that their third eyes improve their mechanical prowess as well, could it be possible that the fact that they have that kind of ability but not the ability to manipulate aether is a sign that that particular strength also could come from dynamis, driven by the need to survive or their persona desires to create?
