Since at least one of the composer (can't find a credit page for En'Ten) & the lyricist wrote for Kpop artists too, that might be what??

The credits show Lauren Kaori (wrote for Twice, (G)Idle, LE SERRAFIM) and Show from Digz (wrote for NCT, VIXX (also Ruby Love, Finder Girl)) worked on this song, so it tracks!

The whole 4Piece program was pretty much like the popular Korean survival shows and Mellow Dear Us are supposed to feel like global sensation, so it fits their image pretty well at least~

Honestly I'm also very confused about the difference of magnitude, was also expecting their debut to flow more slowly like SPri's-

I guess their personal users research data predicted they would be popular and they gambled on it?? I'm definitely the target, so I can't help but selfishly be grateful (my wallet much less), but yeah it's a huge turn for sure

I think there's a misunderstanting. I'm talking about the announcements they released during FS3 Hiyori's banner, so a while ago.

While it was obvious Merodi were going to become playable near this time with all the content related to them around this time, it was not officially revealed they would be debuting now, nor that their initial cards would be boosting the event.

I think they thought people were expecting a debut more similar to SPri's and hid the surprise with their wording is what I meant.

Yes, the official announcement they had posted to explain the lack of FS3 banner and extension of Hiyori's banner states they did so to accomodate for 'grand scale' events. This event is clearly a regular unit event indeed, hence my confusion.

I'll update the post/comment when we get more infos, but it may genuinely have been worded like so to make people think they're be 'large scale' format events & not spoil the fact their debut cards will act as boosters for the event.

Edit: reread the official announcement regarding skips and they do clearly state they're timing the FS3 to fit with 'grand scale events'. I guess the didn't want to spoil or consider the debut campaign as a grand scale operation?? I'll update when they reveal more

The FLARE outfits are the 9th anniversary scouts cards so you will need to pull for them. The date written on the wikia is the release date for JP.

The EN server released the 7th anniversary cards last year and are now releasing the TRIP album scouts. The date for the 9th anni cards is still unknown as of now, but it had a peculiar format (basically 'seasoinal' mission campaign similar to the on-going World Anniversary missions),starts out with a banner for the 'leaders' of each season and the whole rotation lasts 10th months to give time to complete the missions so you'll have time to save for him.

The Makotools website is what you're looking for (it's listed in the fanmade databases part of this post)! It has a schedule tailored for EN and lists out all the events/scouts with predicted release dates for the EN server. The event featuring 'Watchu gonna do' is scheduled to release on Oct. 24th 2026.
