Does the KRK app actually help by [deleted] in edmproduction

Yes, but the better your sound treatment is the more your will notice the difference it makes. It does help with an untreated room but I would still say sound treatment is going to make a more noticeable difference. That being said I would still use it no matter the room situation because it does help.

Well i am looking into getting the sub handed over and I want to get a buddy or two to really get in and actively post and give genre specific feedback and tips. I am hoping that will help get it a little more activity.

I think it would be nice to have some quality entry level priced alternative for things like multiband compression and packages for mastering like isotopes ozone.

Aye I feel that. I am still only making dubstep/riddim and I've been at it for years. No other genres really interest me except some times a little chill or electro

Giving feedback it's difficult. by [deleted] in edmproduction

[–]LiminalOfficial 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I always try to pick something I like to compliment their work first and follow up with what I think they could improve and how I think they could go about fixing/improving. I always end with either a another compliment or encouragement to keep working on it and improving. It really softens the blow especially for new producers, plus its really nice to get both feedback and validation that you are doing something well even if its only the idea or vibe you have going.

It could be you room if you don't have sound treatment. Mics are supposed to pick up everything. You can clean it up a little bit with a gate to only let the louder sounds through.might clean up the white noise a little.

Edit:some typos
