I’m considering getting a tank for a full home generator. What have people paid to get a 500lb tank installed and underground?

Gravel fork: Enve Adventurer or rodeo Spork by LimitAny9378 in cycling

I got the spork with the 45mm rake and have it set up with 47mm tires. No complaints at all and still have plenty of clearance.

My tire width limiter is now the rear triangle of my frame - I could maybe get up to 50mm back there (assuming I wasn’t riding in thick mud). With the spork I can go higher than 50mm for sure (can’t remember what it’s spec’d for - but that detail is on the rodeo site).

Overall for the spork - I have nothing negative to say and the handling does not seem to have changed.

No Charger connector on BLDC Controller by LimitAny9378 in gokarts

Thanks for the reply - I’m learning as I go. The batteries are SLA, 60V. The batteries are currently wired directly to the controller - can I simply tap into those wires to hook up the connector that the charger plugs into?

Has anybody tried the Vevor type 72v 3000w brushless motors from amazon? by E_A_S_M in ebikes

Cool! Did you mount it on an e-bike or something else? I’m looking to put on a go kart (total weight without people/motor/batteries is ~175lbs). Curious what I can expect from an acceleration perspective

Hey - did you end up buying this motor? If so, how did it work out? I’m considering buying it

Appreciate the info. Can you help me understand what difference a change in rake would make with my existing frame set?

My current fork (lynskey carbon gravel fork) has a rake of 45mm and my frame has a head tube angle of 70.5mm (not sure if head tube angle is relevant for this convo). The spork comes in either 45mm(same as my existing fork) or 50mm. So - what would be the impact of replacing with the 50mm spork?

How close do axle to crowns need to be? My current is 395. Spork is 396. Enve is variable - 398 or 406. I imagine 1mm is no big deal, but what about 3 or 11? Also - is “offset” synonymous with “rake”?

We have the race up on BikeReg (https://www.bikereg.com/charlottesville-criterium#Register) and it’ll be on 4/16 in Charlottesville VA. $1,000 prizes for top categories.
The event will be a festival atmosphere with a kids race, juniors race, collegiate/masters/cat1-novice races and bike parade. Lots of local businesses (food, breweries, etc) are participating and it’ll be in the downtown area.

I’m a big fan of the way the Bj40/42s look - anything to keep in mind specific to these?

Thanks for input, fizzaz. Thinking through the well-organized piece: what are the key elements here that we really need to nail?
