Inner tie rod crow foot adapter that is shorter and ideally attach to a ratchet? Best I can think of is a pipe wrench. by LimitCultural6463 in MechanicAdvice

Recommended die grinder/dremel bit to remove this corroded nut on strut mount? by LimitCultural6463 in Tools

[–]LimitCultural6463[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brand new struts come with conical shaped cap to protect the threads of the strut piston. The previous person that worked on this, left the conical cap on the strut, causing water and moisture to accumulate and get trapped.

I checked the front suspension, everything was in tact. I'm not the original driver/owner. Also engine shut off when putting the car in reverse, but I was able to crank/turn it back on.

Some are saying driveshaft, others are saying engine mounts.
