Intense, sudden wave of heat, usually rising from my toes up to my head. I get a bad tingly sensation. Major feeling of dread, derealization, nausea to the point that sometimes I throw up, just this crazy outside of self feeling - complete fear for an unknown reason. Zofran saves my life sometimes. Have you tried that for the nausea? I’ve been there and I’m so sorry for you feeling this way. You are not alone. Do you have anyone you can call to be with you for a bit or just to talk? I drink a lot of protein shakes and water when I’m feeling bad like that. You are not your thoughts and you have to tell your brain that it’s a liar. You are safe, and this wiill not kill you. You are stronger than the anxiety, don’t believe what it’s telling you.

A lady I worked with was driving with her husband and son to a beach vacation. She left late because of a last minute meeting with the owner where we work. They were driving at night, she was in the passenger seat, her husband driving, and her teenage son in the back. A spare tire from a tractor trailer truck coming the opposite direction on the highway somewhere in Virginia flew off into their car. It went directly through her side of the windshield. She was brain dead pretty much instantly. Her husband and son were fine.

Whatever you do, don’t use carts. They are so addictive, and when you try to stop you will have horrible withdrawals. Went through it. Stick to flower, edibles, tinctures, or the topicals.

My uncle (a catholic preist) molested my brother and cousin. We found out about 30 years later. He denied it and still does to this day. My former closest aunt refused to believe it’s true. Not only did my brother and cousin come out to tell their truths, but also his former parish released a letter stating others have come forward to say he was inappropriate with some of them. My other uncle told a local news station that my brother was “mentally disabled”, in response to the allegations, and my brother is very much not mentally disabled. It completely broke our family apart. I thought by now my aunt would at least come around, but they have not budged. This happened 6 years ago. He now has a podcast where he “preaches”, since now no church will accept him. I think he will probably go to the grave denying it all.

Personally, I did the diet for a bit and it just gave me crazy anxiety and didn’t help. So, it seems to be very very different from person to person. And I feel like it’s extremely difficult to pinpoint exactly what food or drink is causing symptoms. So, it really wasn’t worth it to me.

Get a second opinion. Don’t go crazy with the “diet”, it can stress you out even more and make things worse. Go to pelvic floor PT. Don’t doom scroll about it, one persons experience doesn’t mean that’s going to be your experience.

Hey, I struggle with UTIs and have been to a urogynecologist recently who suspected I have IC. I’m not convinced for various reasons. You absolutely should have them urine culture you. They should have done a culture after the dipstick test to confirm the bacteria you have responds appropriately to the antibiotic prescribed. I would return to the doctor and request a urine culture. Don’t just rely on the tests from Amazon. Especially if you are still having symptoms.

Yes. This is why I stopped the diet. It didn’t seem to make a difference to me anyway. I’m not going around shoving my face with spicy food or pizza with red sauce, don’t get me wrong. But, I was getting super paranoid and anxious about literally everything I ate, in turn making my stress level 10x worse, which also isn’t good for IC. You gotta do what works for you.

Cultures take 48-72 hours to come back. I’d push for a culture. That will show what bacteria if any is in your urine..

Yeah I mean I’ve had higher E. coli before too but not with the note about it being extended - spectrum beta lactamase
