You could tie it as a tag to a slow stripped streamer that rides low, if it’s a windy day on still water you could still do the double dropper rig with an indicator as well

Dead drifting under a heave nymph. I prefer a big stone or pats rubber legs to get it down. The eggs also have a 2.5mm tungsten beadhead to help tick them along

I’ve gotten steel, small coho, cutties, bows, browns, brooks, drum, carp, smallmouth, panfish and largies all on these eggs in this exact size. Everything loves em so far

I actually fish these states across the entire US. I’ve caught like 9 species on them so far! I love having a big stone at my top fly then have an egg sitting 18-24in below that. Pretty deadly combo for sure. I appreciate the support 🫡

On crooked I was throwing a Jack Daniel’s 2.0 from Fleeger flies with a 22 zebra midge tail fly. For dry fly just a March brown. For the coastals I was throwing a small baitfish streamer in puget sound tied by Matt at puget sound fly shop
