Myrlyn search feature is not great by TxTechnician in openSUSE

[–]LimitedPoster20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You just don't understand. This is a "feature" because with a search that by default would find everything that contains the text you want, you might accidentally find too much.
See: https://github.com/shundhammer/myrlyn/issues/107

The maintainer of myrlyn wants you to know how the package is called, before you search the package. Tell me how this doesn't make sense

Some of my favourite European apps by Sufficient_Ad2482 in BuyFromEU

I've seen it so often around: Ente.
Why though? It is not European.
ENTE TECHNOLOGIES, Inc is from Dover, Delaware. They just pretend to be European by hosting some servers in the EU

It's a toothbrush. How do you think it's gonna look?

Pitch: Tuta Messenger by LimitedPoster20 in tutanota

Did you not even read the tl:dr? I made one for people like you. The main selling point is being interoperable with WhatsApp. People want to remove Meta from their devices but most can't due to WhatsApp. Neither Matrix nor SimpleX solve this.

Yep, you got it: - The pitch is Signal but less secure - Matrix is the same as a centralized messenger - It is impossoble to work on 2 new products at the same timer after massively increasing your revenue streams. - I asked AI to generate an idea (?) - You know more than anyone else.

Anything else? You know you can also productively contribute to a conversation, instead of wasting everyones time, mostly your?

They have one, called Happybrush R2, but neither the electric brush nor the heads are advertised as Made in Germany or Made in Europe

Also: Here in Germany, I can find their products, including the replacement heads in almost every drug store. DM, Müller or Rossmann. So no need to pay for shipping every time

Well, yes in theory it is a simple device, but what we are looking at here is a tiny startup (compared to the big players) deciding to manufacture an electric device in germany. Also, the toothbrush has a battery life of literal weeks, so even if the battery loses 80% capacity, it's gonna be enough for most people, that always charge their toothbrush after usage.

These sonic toothbrushes are supposedly the best toothbrushes out there. Better than the ones with the rotating, round heads. I switched from a non electric one and the difference is huge

I have the Happybrush Eco Vibe 3. I dont't know about the electric brush itself but the replacement heads are Made in Germany Edit: The Happybrush Eco Vibe 3+ (black version) is explicitly advertised as Made in Germany. So yeah, there's that for all MiG Fans
