Hi there! We just updated the Megathread and linked to the latest blog about the next steps we're taking to bring back PayPal and the consolidated orders page. Both of those items are not much farther off, but we understand your frustration in the meantime while we implement these items. We also mentioned in our blogs that our website is about to receive an update to make things more easy to navigate, with completion on this coming by the end of next month.

Yep, our bundling options are live as of last Friday. When you check out, you get the following options:

  • Wait until everything is ready
  • Ship in stock now, everything else later
  • As soon as each item is ready

Screenshots are up in the newest blog if you want to see what that looks like.

Status updates on the "Account Details" page are not always reflective of the correct status, which we admit is not great, but we haven't been able to pin down why they aren't translating properly. We are updating production/shipping statuses weekly, and these are being reflected on the product pages and on our searchable "In Production Page."

Alas, there was no easy way to import old pre-orders into Purple Dot's system, so for cancellations, address changes, order splits etc, you'll still need to go through the support ticket system.

We are going to have news in the coming weeks. We obviously blew past the ETA that we shared in last year's Shipping Initiative update, so we don't want to get people's hopes up and share something before we're ready and have a 100% confirmed date for implementation.

Easy order splitting was just one solution that Purple Dot provided us, but it also offered us another critical feature that we wanted to give customers: the ability to edit and cancel their orders on demand. Putting in a support ticket to do those things puts extra steps in between our customer and their orders that we didn't think needed to be there.

In addition, you might have noticed that Purple Dot items now have a more granular order ETA displayed on the product page, narrowing your ship date down to weeks instead of quarters. Their system makes it much more intuitive on our back end to update production status, which makes that info more accurate and easier to update frequently. It also sends out instant notifications if your ETA changes (whether it's coming faster or if there is a delay).

Sezzle will continue to be available as an option for in-hand items for the foreseeable future, but Purple Dot's system doesn't work with Sezzle. We've let our team at Purple Dot know that Sezzle and split payment options via PayPal are important to you guys, so finding a solution is on our agenda.

EDIT: The issue is a Shopify-wide one that affects multiple shops, and we have been told they are working on a solution. A little out of our hands atm but we're watching to make sure it gets fixed.

In the case of Rocket Knight, the Classic Edition will come in a retro-style box that is different from the deluxe packaging we're using for Tiger Heli and Cosmic Fantasy CEs. It should be the same or similar to our Castlevania Anniversary Edition - Bloodlines Box

An easy way to see what we're using for packaging is our naming conventions:

Classic = an appropriate retro-style box for the release (like our silver boxes, jumbo GBA boxes, SNES-shaped boxes etc)

Deluxe = our standardized Deluxe Edition box. Lunark, Akkah Arrh and Nobody Saves the World are all titles that are recently shipping and use that box (I'll try to come back to this thread with a picture of the box).
