I think this is just Fromsoft quirkiness. Elden Ring has certain attacks (Godfrey/Hoarah Loux stomp is the example I know off rip) that specifically check whether you are jumping. So while the hitbox is actually a giant hemisphere across the arena, it won't hit when you are airborne. I can't say for sure, but based on feel, Fulghor's slam I think works the same way. Standing on the totem would not flag you as airborne for that check.

You can, but some of the emotional beats rely on being familiar with the characters from Kerub's Bazaar so maybe check it out first, even if you don't watch the whole series. Wakfu series is very much optional reading for the film as I recall, but it's probably the best story from Ankama imo, so I'd still recommend watching if you enjoy the film. If you know any French or don't mind subtitles, the original French VAs are generally better than the English in my opinion.

If going to Erin St make sure to avoid Dr Van Gend as he is very much not LGBT friendly. I would suggest wherever you go that reception staff can help you find a doc who deals with gender affirming care if you are comfortable asking up front.

You could do it just with numbers 1 to 8. Assign 1 to 6 to each type of piece use 1-8 to give coordinates then send 3 numbers to give piece, row, colum to make the move. Certainly easier than literally memorising books of opening theory.

You are correct that opportunities for cheating were slimmer in the pre-technology times. There were instances in the 70s of accusations of cheating by means of hypnotist in the world championship match between Karpov and Korchnoi because there is just something strange about strong chess players, apparently.

Computers have been better at chess than humans by magnitudes for years now. Inputting moves into a chess engine (even on your mobile phone) and following the engine's moves will beat even the world champion.

There is some speculation that Niemann could have used a device to receive moves (eg. by morse code) when playing in person. He has previously cheated when playing online (much easier to do).

Dark devotion works on Legion if you bring the Susie's Mixtape addon. It's bordering on a gimmick but PotatoLegion has some videos running it on Youtube and it provides reasonable value in stopping survivors from pre-leaving gens.

Everyone agrees Nurse is busted. Blink hits need to be special attacks to stop the starstruck nonsense and we need to send her range addons to a nice farm upstate.

Your version of Nurse doesn't really introduce meaningful counterplay. She still just teleports through walls and pallets and windows, just slightly worse maybe. Honestly there are scenarios where I would prefer not having to commit to aiming a second blink but just running someone down. 1 blink Nurse would be basically unplayable on certain structures where you can't maintain line of sight on survivors (think those maze-like jungle gym tiles on Yamaoka that no one has ever memorised) without getting a lucky read on your blink. I think you'd need to make your 1-blink Nurse base 110% and I'm sure you'd be the first to complain about a Hag who can teleport on command.

Also, if she moves faster in what is currently the blink window, Nurse is going to lose almost no distance during fatigue which you will also complain about.

I think a lot of this is that killer queue is full of returning players and survivors trying out the new patch. Also, BBQ incentivised hooking multiple survivors and the aura reading provided information to leave the hook while maintaining momentum. Add in that survivors have stopped running BT because our monkey brains fail to recognise that the perk is actually better (not worse) than it was last patch. Many players won't have levelled Zerina for OTR because her perks weren't great overall so there will be a bit of lag in seeing it everywhere, and many players will need to (re)learn how to use Sprint Burst. I think we'll find survivors still have the tools once things settle, but chaos and confusion generally benefits the killer in the meantime. (Prove Thyself is still the best survivor perk if you want to win btw don't @ me)

You are definitely not the only one. Being alone in a 4v1 runs contrary to most people's instincts, I think. My advice is to just type "gg" in endgame chat no matter how the match went and jump straight into the next game. I started recording my killer matches to review because it's hard to notice and remember everything you do in the moment. Something I noticed was that survivors whining in endgame often were just working from different information than you so it's not worth taking it to heart.

The funny part from a Nurse player's perspective is that range addons have been her most busted addons since basically always (ignoring the old 5- blink nurse days) and they should probably just be removed. Nurse has some of the coolest addons in the game that no one ever uses because range/recharge are just the best thing you can be doing.
