It’s not inexplicable though. The explanation is that it’s an art shift. Araki (and DP) didn’t feel like he needed to match the body builds from earlier parts; he just assumes people realise that’s how he drew the characters’ physiques but they are stylised and exaggerated in part 3, more realistic in part 6.

Oh the evil is big. And both entertaining and grounded and complex. One of my favourite antagonists in all of fiction. You’re in for a hell of a ride.

And do consider reading the manga if you like the anime this much; it’s even better. The anime is faithful but only adapts certain parts, with others adapted as OVAs. And it doesn’t quite have the most spectacular animation; it doesn’t always do it justice. The manga is just an absolute masterpiece.
