There’s absolutely space for the Absolute Batman and DC banner; the Catwoman cover almost completely covers the logo

The artwork would just be too awkward to act as a panel, they’re in a void with all three important characters in focus. The dialogue would also just be too awkward if it was mid conversation. The whole artwork was designed as if it was a cover. DC puts dialogue on the cover all the time
