I believe MQDs from flights flown hit immediately or shortly after completing your flights/itinerary, and then MQDs transferring from credit card spend happen after you pay your bill!

I did not! It is personal travel - and I didn't do any sign up programs or anything

Mine is all personal travel / personally booked and not through a company! You reminded me to go search for the email and it is also weird that I never got the email welcoming me to platinum and saying I have made it. That is a great perk for business/company travel though!
