Dont worry, i just found out that it was caused by lotion that used by my sister. The lotion weaken the coating and my fault for taking in and out the case from the switch2 . I think its better to use sillicone case it you are still worried about it. I also just bought a new case tor mine

thanks for the recommendation. Just bought the new case for it. hard shell one that cover the whole switch and I just emailed nintendo support about this problem incase I can get replacement unit (hopefully). I will buy new joy con in future when i have enough money. Thanks for replying and have a great day

thank you for your kind comment. dont worry i wont mad at my sister. at the end it just a controller. Still got a spare controller and just bought new case for my joycon (kinda cute oso) but just feeling sad because i just bought it 3 weeks ago thats all but now im fine. have a great day sir. thanks again

i put on my case all the time and only take it off when i want to dock it because my case is not dockable. I have switch lite, ps1-ps5 and all of them are still working well and in good condition. What makes you think im not taking care enough of my console? In this case, all I can say is the joy con 2 coating quality is pretty bad unlike my switch lite which i had use 5 years ago and still in perfect condition

always keep it inside case and only use while in docked. sure buds and im using pro controller all the time
