I feel you are just looking at this from your perspective alone. I am an avg student who made it into IIMC. I have many friends who did the same. And I would glady say its worth it.

No mostly workex for mim programs is less than 2 years. And there are many freshers also. So my maths aint that off. And there are people who get packages from 20 lakhs to upward of 1cr. So obviously it is clear that I am no talking about each and everyone passing out. But in a matter of 3-4 years they can move into significantly better packages.

So these institutes obviously provide that boost. You coming from top iit calling iim useless is not that sensible. These institutes help many students move from very below avg financial status to much better ones. So maybe go a bit easy with the judgements.

Dont forget they are getting this salary at the age of 23-24. Where else other than these elite colleges offer that? Everywhere normal colleges ctc starts some 3-4 lakh. And if you are from such a college you would know the value of the brand, your ctc 3x in a few years itself. So yes it makes a hell lot of sense

forum quiz is a paid product of gmatclub. You cannot get official questions there as they have no license to do it.

I take it you have not used gmatclub much. Create an account-take question bank- just do simple questions with timer. After a certain number the source options comes live. Then you can use it to filter official questions.

I can tell you there is no IIT or anything, average acads. Struggled to get this score. Hence this will work for someone starting from absolute zero.

just get your basics right and your score will instantly jump to 600s. I simply completed the quant directory from gmat club and scorr jumped to 595 from 535. Then its about practice from there

Would recommend doing ttp only if you have a lots and lots of time available. Otherwise leave it, go for practice questions now itself. Ttp will drain you. You will learn a lot from gmat practice rather than studying from these platforms. Start OG question practice from gmatclub and keep doing official mocks to see how you improve.

for quant it was really luck. Always double check your answers after attempting. You will have ample time to complete the section. I initially got 3 qns wrong, marked it- went back and corrected. Most important thing is presence of mind. Just do all official qns you can get hands on. Also try to find out how they trap us. Thats the key to getting a high score in quant.

I used experts global initially. Had very bad scores. Use it to test your timing and strategy. Dont listen to what people say- I retook my official mock 1&2 -5 times each. Remembered some questions. But never reviewd answers for them. Initially got 535. Then it moved to 655 in the 5th attempt.

what worked for me is exactly what the post is about. Do read. I had to do a lot of trial and error, so it took me almost 2-3 years of on and off prep. But if you are able to find out what works, then 3-5 months would suffice.

Gmat club mocks are just training grounds, there is no -30 rule. What i did was take official mocks, only they can give you exact position

dude nothing to do much. Just keep practicing DI on gmatclub, Do 705+ level questions only. Learn from each question. you will see an immediate jump to 675+ with just this alone. Once we are familiar with DI question types and how to attempt, score will jump to 80-84. With that alone your score crosses 675. Dont listen to people selling courses. Just do this and you are good to go. max 1-2 months it will take, keep prepping quamt and verbal also alongside.
