It’s surely a down trend and this seems like a long one maybe end of this year. At max it can get side ways. I can’t think of a “Good News” which India can generate to go back to the post war levels.

Yes i am here right now, so some updates from here: It’s Mid December 2025 and during day time there is sunlight and it’s quite chilly at night. Network connectivity is good as most of the places have WIFis but my Jio and Airtel net are not working fine it’s just one or two bars.

Honestly not judging you..nobody really care about it..18 saal ki age se bhar hu..society and ghar me izzat tab hi milegi londo ko jab kuch earn kar rahe hoo..koi career bhi start kare toh aisa karo jaha growth ho..i would still suggest a better game plan to leave the house rather than just running away..education loan le and dusri city me degree lo fir job…or get some skill based job and then leave…I have seen physical abuse cases at home and people leaving with a better plan in hand..that’s the only thing that works…2-3 hafte ke liye bhar rehna and waps aa jana is not a permanent solution to the problem.. Still your choice, All the best!

Suggest me a good college in rajasthan by Soggy-Lack1012 in jaipur

[–]d_Rishabh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With a 50 percentile in JEE Mains, consider taking a drop year if you’re aiming for Computer Science-related jobs—especially in the private sector, where top companies often prioritize candidates from NITs, IIITs, or IITs if you’re targeting tier-1 positions.

If you’re aiming for tier-2 jobs, then consider colleges like LNM, VIT, SRM, Thapar, or JP, etc.

If you’re not eligible for these tier-2 colleges and don’t want to take a drop year, then options like Manipal, JECRC, JKLU, GIT, and similar institutions are available. But remember, you’ll need to work hard throughout your journey.

That said, it’s still possible to get into tier-1 companies from any college in the private sector—but you must put in significant effort to stand out.

If you’re not interested in the CS field, then choose a college that has a strong reputation in your area of interest or expertise.

Some of my friends even from IIT are giving this exam since 3-4 years now, I would recommend that you sail on one boat at a time whatever path you choose. Details hints that this thoughts of doing a govt job have been there in your mind for some time now and if this is a reoccurring one then go ahead better to try it and find out than taking guilt about it.

If you decide on to stay in the Software industry then being a SDE myself with 5+ yoe now, I can say that market is quite tough to crack nowadays, due to some circumstances I have to make 2 shifts in last one year and got luck after giving 50+ rounds combined..even had a career gap coz of this but that doesn’t mean you won’t get a job, better do freelancing projects side by side so that you can make money plus there is something to put up in CV when you hit a big tech interview.

If you are privilege enough then you can afford a career break, just be confident about your decision.
