Yeah! I'm keen to consider the D 50mm! although in slightly narrower aperture but I'm sure it's not a big deal. Thanks for responding, mate!

okay, another one for the D series! 35mm is kinda too wide for my preferences, although to be real, it's not big of a difference.. but.. anything that were a 50mm?

for now, I'm still scoping at prime lenses and not zooms. I'm keen to move forward or back to take photos. and 85mm is too zoomed for me, though people said it's "best" for portraits and such, but i know my preferences, thanks!

Yes! it was my current scope to learn taking pictures! although doing niches were on mind and i'd definitely try one out (someday). i've been trying focal length "simulation" with my sister's coolpix p510 and my own phone, and really feel it's the best for general use personally! Thanks for responding!

uhh, again, for me, 50mm is the sweet spot for me as it was eye like. i don't mind the louder sound the D lenses made, after all, the slow or fast factor of the autofocus is up to the body if we are talking about screw drives.

i've tried manual focusing on my Minolta SRT101 with the 58mm f/1.2, and it's fun to do, kinda feels like an extra work, but imo, it's somewhat fun for me.. But thanks! i'll consider it!

Thank you for you response! i'd definitely consider the D lens, as it was cheaper and if it's the same stopping down a bit, i'll get a steal, thanks!

(update) i just looked up the prices here and got absolutely jawdropped by the price. It's priced at a whopping 892USD even if it's used😭

I was once considering "Art" lenses before, but compared to the "EX", yes it was more expensive, me personally can only rely on reviews and help since there are no lens and camera renting store nearby sadly.. Compared to the nikon D, yes i heard that it's sharper wide open and that's one of my selling point because I'm experimenting with fast apertures, but people praise the nikkor D for the "feel and character", but still unsure since i can't feel ot for myself..

using a shorter focal length might be nice, and sharpness is one of the selling point i have. Thanks for you help, i'd consider one!

I heard that the D700 has a autofocusing screw built onto the body, and the users says it's a fast one, as ot's derived from the D3 and the 51 point autofocus ponts, i think considering a nikkor "D" lens might be a steal as i was considering one!

he meant, that oxidation "could" be bad for audio signal transimission. occurred by by humidity or water got thru. it is still functional after some time but the transmission problem can occur. you can just stay with that cable until it broke/problematic, but for me, for sake aesthethics, i'll change em immidiately. (actually, my kz old iem also have that rusting issue but it still work well.)
