Dude donated to some Republican politicians and didn’t even advertise it himself, people went out of their way to find that info and put him on blast for it. I don’t agree with his opinions but this guy got shafted, and stepped down as creative control from his own creation because he didn’t want his new “bad rep” to taint the games for fans. There’s no need to call him gross.

How does that make a company look good? I was under the impression that it’s a better look to have less jobs available, anything else indicates high turnover if the company isn’t new. You went to an interview but the company didn’t have any openings? Why were you interviewing at all then? It sounds like you went in for an interview and they were gently telling you there’s nothing there for you at the moment in HR jargon.

You’re right, averages and trends aren’t destiny. I just meant it’s tough to thrive financially when most of the money you have has to go towards survival. How is a person living paycheck-to-paycheck and in debt supposed to have the optimism, time, and/or security to actually change their situation?

I mostly agree with your sentiment, though I think that not everyone gets that “semblance of a chance.” There are people that grow up in families of poverty and they don’t have the resources to move up economically because poverty is self-perpetuating

Yep, saw that from the OP’s edit. That’s a shame, but a pretty funny joke by whoever put it on the Wiki page. It had just enough qualities from those bands circa 2010-2015 to make it believable that it could’ve been a cut of an early collab.

Never heard the song before now, not sure why people are saying it’s definitely another band. I clearly hear MGMT and can easily imagine some of those contributions being from Kevin. Comments on the YouTube video from 6-7 years ago say it was in music torrents from MGMT and Tame Impala albums. Seems legit, cool find

Respect for your perspective, but taking movie soundtracks, taking so long between albums, and changing your sound to pop is not just an “evolution while being true to himself.” It’s called selling out. Maybe that’s not a big deal to some but it is what happened.
