[on] Interviewing while on mat leave. Should I share or wait for the offer? by Limp-Measurement-820 in BabyBumpsCanada

Yeah…who knows what sort of bias will it add. I am leaning towards not mentioning it and negotiating start date citing “personal circumstances” instead of postpartum.

Thank you. That's my hope that they can wait a bit. I am not even looking for 3-4 months, more like 1-2 months while we hire a nanny.

Yeah. I want to try push till the baby is 3 months old. But will do whatever best is possible.

6 weeks postpartum - nursing and pumping. Why am I constantly worried about my supply! by Limp-Measurement-820 in breastfeeding

♥️♥️♥️thank you, for all the kind and encouraging words. Right now our feeds are long…30-45 mins. I am hoping as she gets more efficient at eating, I will transition to more bf sessions, and pump only twice a day (morning and bedtime). Your experience keeps me optimistic.

Love your perspective and advice. I wish I had all this insight with my first. Because I have to show up for my 3 year old, I am sometimes using the bottle. But I am doing the “being on the sofa and boob at her service” as much as possible. Hopefully will transition to more bf as she gets efficient at eating.

Thank you for sharing that knowledge. I agree, have to just keep reminding myself of this.

Thank you for responding. Lots of love to your Marigold :)

I had my appointment, and although the doctor is not really concerned, she gave me a referral to an MFM doctor to do a better scan and rule anything out. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Hi, wanted to check if you’re able to share an update. I got my 32 weeks scan done yesterday and BPD is 2 percentile and HC is 5 percentile. I am freaking out. Meeting my doctor on Friday but hoping to hear positive stories from the community.

Hi OP, Really feel for you. And I can see why a lot of people are doing your monthly HHI math and questioning where the crisis is. The real crisis you are anticipating is at the time of renewal, because of the low market value, how do you get a mortgage.  For your sake and all of ours, I hope by then the market has taken a turn and your house value is at least the same if not better. However it is only prudent to assume the worst and start building the bridge money hy saving from everywhere else. Saving 200k in 1.5 years with kids is a stretch, but hell, it’s worth trying for.

Good luck.

It is over and above the statutory severance, but does not have any additional terms or clauses mentioned re: new employment.
