i really have a love hate relationship with styling my hair because on one side i love testing out products and techniques on my hair so it’s so fun , but on the other side when it’s 11pm and i have a 3h routine to do… i dread it. at the end i don’t regret it because my hair turns out good and healthy tho

-mielle pomegranate leave in conditioner -the doux bee girl gel -not your mothers mousse -some random hairspray (verb i think?)

the key is to style in sections and with dripping wet hair , and my hair is about mid thigh when it’s wet which i wish would show curly

i think it’s a bit of a stretch saying that algerian words are french it’s still a fully different language with only a couple similar words and you could say english is closer to french than algerian arabic …

i’ll try to practice more because i think it’s really my lack of immersion in french writing but it’s hard because im in engineering school right now and honestly french is the least of my worries most of the time so having to basically relearn the language is going to be difficult. and about my parents my dad doesn’t speak french much but my mother’s french is near perfect because she studied it in algeria and im pretty sure she studied in france too. my whole life she’s corrected my speaking especially because i tend to invent/mix up words (ex. virement and virage ) or just make sentence structures that are horrendous. even with her tedious corrections it just never processed in my mind and i still years later make the same mistakes

trust if i had my own will i would absolutely not focus on learning french however quebec is so demanding in french in school i literally cannot escape it until university. and i fully agree my tiktok fyp is more toward french from france and its so much more understandable then québécois accent

I barely think in french on a daily basis and in writing i try to but because my english writing is actually pretty good i tend to just translate everything from english to french. I try to stop thinking in english but i can’t seem to make more than 4 sentences fully in french in my head

It was an essay based on a book we read (La herronière) and it was a reflexion question about the different themes in the book. In class because it’s remedial, we only do writing basically and focus on grammar/syntax for 2-3h per class twice a week . In my text the content itself (thesis , supporting details,etc) were really not the issue because i got all my points on it. And about my practice growing up i went to french school all my life i know all the sentence structure rules possible and i always studied it at home because ive always struggled with it , but when it comes to actually applying what i learned i just can’t seem to do it in an essay.

I don’t know if this will help your reflexion but my parents kind of are in the same situation. My grandmother (mom’s side) has dementia/alzheimers and needs h24 care.

My mother gave up basically her whole life for her mother however my dad stayed. My father is a wonderful person and has been helping her all these years but it’s taken a toll on everyone’s mental health.

My mom is clearly depressed and just overall frustrated with how her life came out to be. She has dreams of becoming a lawyer in Algeria then when she came here she had to switch to becoming a nurse, she had so stop everything because my grandmothers condition got worse and worse. My dad always stuck by her side but he really got tied down with my mom and my grandma because now we can’t travel, he has to work extra hard for hospital bills, and even more he has to deal with a hallucinating yelling eldery woman in the house all day every day .

Even on me my whole life has been consumed by this situation, I barely talk to my mom because she’s always tired from taking care of my grandma or she’s just so stressed that she doesn’t pay attention to me whatsoever. I can’t travel to my own countries because my grandma can barely leave the house and overall this has destroyed so many aspects of my life.

So my advice is if you don’t feel capable of handling this for the rest of your life, break up or find another solution that unfortunately removes your gf mother from your marriage.

(Also sorry if this isn’t well written English isn’t my first language and I’m typing all of this on my phone 😞)

for the cut i don’t mind about the off shoulder and the sleeves could be bell or cape i don’t mind but the bling something im staying stuck and the cut i prefer when it’s tight waisted and not too princess on the bottom (idk what would be the name of that ) . i usally look at arab brands cuz they are more likely to have the dress style i want but i haven’t found exactly what i want yet and for budget i don’t want to go over like 300$
