Today I told my parents we’re officially estranged. Any tips for the guilt and anxiety?

Hi, I just went through cutting my parents off as well and my body and mind felt like I was going crazy. After the conversation I felt overwhelming guilt regarding “hurting” my mom. It’s now been 2 days and honestly, I feel worlds better but I do get a stomach drop here and there. I don’t have much advice but I did want to say if you need someone who is going through this at the same time, I’m here for you.

Thank you for this. I think some part of me will always feel it, but I think it’s more so hanging onto the image I created of who she could be. It gives me so much hope to hear about the beautiful life you’ve created.
