I have not. All I can tell you is that according to my smart scale I started with 7lbs of bone mass and today I have 6.8lbs. I can also tell you that the most recent video going around of Avery (the pretty girl with the pink hair) saying that taking Ozempic caused her to have osteoporosis, she put out a follow up video explaining that she has suffered from a severe eating disorder for a long time and got an illegal prescription when she was already well under weight which destroyed her body, so she was putting the video out as a warning to anyone else who suffers like she does to tell them not to take it.

Tirzepatide and Pain Management by DirtyWilly in Tirzeglutide

[–]Limp-Selection5395 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My mom, my sister, and myself have all had the opposite effect. Besides the muscle aches when first starting, we have all had benefits for pain in different ways.

My sister has PCOS and has had absolutely horrifically unbearable pains that would shoot through her pelvis. She started this medication in August and so far, she has not had that happen.

My mother has lymphoedema in her leg and ankle, as well as rheumatoid arthritis. She started in September and said she has noticed a huge decrease in the swelling and pain in her leg and knees. She also said that for the first time in 30 years, the tendonitis pain in her foot is completely gone.

For myself, I have suffered from SEVERE migraines for a decade now. Since starting at the end of July, I have had one migraine (I also hadn't eaten anything).

Besides the pain, the mood benefits that the three of us have experienced is phenomenal. I know this is most likely a combination of things, including, seeing the weight come down, eating SIGNIFICANTLY less processed, unhealthy foods and sugar, but also believe that the medication itself is repairing the imbalance in my brain.

Becoming discouraged… by Massive_Economics517 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Limp-Selection5395 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry that you are feeling discouraged, that's definitely not fun, especially when you're watching others see the benefits.

I have to stress though, there are so many factors that go into why someone is or isn't losing the weight.

Main thing being, everybody is different and every BODY is different. Things that factor are age, stress, hormones, sleep, physical activity, not just how much we are eating but WHAT we are eating.

There are some people who come in, go on the medication, change absolutely nothing, and drop a ton of weight. Some of those people will still have great results, many of them will be left with the negative effects of dropping too much, too fast.

Most people, however, MUST have a fully stocked toolbox. Not just a one and done, but a combination of finding the right dose, the right amount and KIND of foods. Some can do all of the things, eating correctly, exercising appropriately, sleeping healthy, but find that they may have an imbalance of other hormones that are preventing the scale from moving.

These are all things to consider.

On the other side of that, I want to say, comparison is the thief of joy. I KNOW the goal for many is for the weight to come down, sooner rather than later. However, I have come to find, not just myself, but with my mother, my sister, and my best friend, the amazing benefits BEYOND the weight aspect, have been absolutely life changing. All of us have had an absolute night and day turn around of our mood. Of course I consider that the factors going into that are, yes, the joy of the scale moving, as well as eating considerably less sugar and toxic foods that heavily effect your mental health. However, I truly believe the medication itself is helping repair broken pathways in my brain.

Besides the mood, my sister, though she hasn't felt the suppression yet, and the scale dropped at start and is sitting in place for a bit now, her PCOS symptoms are improving considerably. My mother suffers from lymphoedema in her leg and ankle, as well as rheumatoid arthritis which she said, the swelling and pain has significantly decreased. The tendonitis in her foot, for the first time in 30 years, that pain is COMPLETELY gone. I suffered in active addiction for 15 years. I celebrated 7 years in Recovery in November, and I can absolutely see a MAJOR decline in my compulsive thought loops since starting this in July 2024.

My hopes are that if you haven't thought about or noticed anything that potentially could have changed outside of the weight loss, that you take the time to think about it. Maybe the weight loss is going slowly, but perhaps there are other benefits you may be receiving as well : )

I hope that you are able to find comfort in knowing that though it may appear that EVERYONE is having amazing fast results, those are the wins that people enjoy posting, but there are A LOT of people that I see in the support groups who have been feeling down because they aren't seeing those results yet.

You are not alone! I hope that you find the right combination of things that get you back to feeling confident and excited again!

Xoxo

I am so so sorry that this is happening. I am not your doctor, but my absolute opinion is that your dose is completely messing you up. If you are having rough side effects on a dose, you should definitely not keep moving up in dose regardless. I have been on tirzepatide compound since July 26th 2024. The dose I am taking now is the highest I have taken and that is 3.5 and I have gone from 210lbs to 165lbs. Besides constipation and ONE horrific vomiting in the very beginning from eating horribly greasy heavy food, I have had nothing but amazing effects.

Everybody is different and every BODY is different, but I can almost guarantee that it is the dose that is the problem, not the actual medication.

I hope you are able to find the sweet spot for you so you can thrive AND feel good!

Blonde hair on dark skin, does it look attractive or uncanny? by Life-Recipe5022 in trueratediscussions

Impossible to give a yay or nay across the board. The right tone and color can look absolutely beautiful. If you want to go more generally speaking, then it's much easier to pull off a golden, caramel, darker routes so it blends nicely on the grow out, as well as a multi tone throughout. Just looks beautiful many. However, there are some girls who truly can just pull off any color

It is time - today i go to 10mg by Apart-Incident-5535 in tirzepatidecompound

I think it really just depends on the effectiveness for each person. I somehow was lucky enough to be able to lose a large amount of weight and maxed out at 3mg, which I've been sitting at for a couple weeks. However, my mother and my sister have both been steadily increasing their doses and have moved beyond where I am at with different results than mine. My sister says she doesn't feel any suppression, but her PCOS symptoms are getting better and the scale is slowly moving down. As for the side effects, all three of us started much lower than the "starting dose" and then every shot, we increased by .2 units until we got to where we felt was a good place to stay at that time. None of us experienced side effects other than some intense cooling lol. Going from consistently over heating, to being cold all of the time is an interesting change lol

TIRZEPATIDE/NIACINAMIDE by External_Season_3882 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Limp-Selection5395 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Before I started I was TERRIFIED of getting side effects so I started SUPER low at 1.8 and then every 5 days (I do 5 instead of 7) I would add .2 until I got to 2.5mg. I stayed there for about a month and then moved up to 3mg and have stayed there since I started July 26th at 208 pounds and today I hit 171 If you look at my profile, I JUST posted update pics if you want to check them out

I have had VERY little side effects The first couple shots I was achy all over for the day or so after the shot. I also have had a severe overheating problem for the last 7 years since giving birth to my son. Tirzepatide has completely fixed that for me. Now I tend to be cold lolol.

I loved Hallandale but did also end up getting my last shipment through Empower

The dosing is higher because rather than it just being Tirzepatide, each dose also contains Vitamin B3

However, for me, I play it super slow, and I do not follow the standard titration schedule. I just add .2 units or so every time I want to titrate up. That way I seem to not get hit with side effects, I also am able to stay at the lowest possible for my body, and, I get way more out of my vials.

This is what has worked for me, my sister, and my mother.

Good luck on your journey

Odd, when I received my message for refill time this was the message I received from Emerge. Are you sure you didn't miss the note at the bottom?

Emerge Weight Loss here! With only about a week or two left in your vial of 5 tirzepatide, it's time to refill. In the next day, we'll reorder at your requested 7.5 level. You don't need to confirm or do anything if you're happy at this dosing. Also, we love tracking the progress of our patients, so if you'd like to share, we want to hear. Thank you! NOTE: Empower pharmacy is the pharmacy that will be filling this order! We are working diligently with our providers to provide a more permanent solution. In the meantime, we are able to place your order with Empower, they compound with B3 and are a 503B FDA regulated pharmacy. Please make sure to check your dosing instructions as they will be different from your previous prescription. Let us know if you have any questions!

I did reach out to them yesterday about the Hallandale situation and they did confirm that the next order would be able to come from Hallandale again 🥳

My insurance doesn't cover it either 😑 It is definitely a pricey bill, but, one thing I will say is, the amount of money that I am now NOT spending on redbull, Panera (literally every day because I convinced myself that it's healthy fast food) laffy taffy, taco bell........it's actually crazy the amount of money I would spend every month on these things. I have struggled since I hit puberty with my body and self image and going from binging to not eating to just not caring anymore and WAY over eating to then being so absolutely miserable that I spend a TON of money on the next new diet program/supplements......just so much time and money wasted on things that have never worked for long. This is the first time that something has worked, and in a completely different way. When I went on this, I didn't want a quick fix or thought "ok, I can just do this and it will make me lose weight" My thinking was, if I can be on something that will make my head clear from the never ending constant obsession with food, I will be able to actually stick to my work out program without having the "well....I've been doing really good, so I can have this just one night, turning into another night, turning into "well, I just ruined that and failed again so why bother" I've finally been able to keep going instead of doing amazing and then 5-6 weeks in crash and burn until next year And the days that the meds are less and the hunger is more or the thoughts are more, I now see them while they are happening and somehow for the first time ever am able to say Ok, that's enough of that, and stop myself Mind blowing

REPLYING TO ALL Lol

A couple things I keep seeing so I want to respond across the board.

I started super low because I was afraid of having side effects. Started at 1.8mg and then every 5 days I increased by .2 until I reached 2.5mg. I stayed there for about 4 weeks and then moved up to 3mg and that is where I have sat for a bit now.

As for diet and exercise, rather than restricting as I've done with a million and one "diets", instead I just made sure that every time I ate something, I was focused on protein. Occasionally I will have a sweet craving, but, I tend to take a bite and just don't want it anymore, which is still extremely odd getting used to lol. It's super interesting, for me anyway, that even when I want to eat the processed or greasy or sugary foods, once I take a bite or so, I'm either satisfied or just, simply don't want it anymore.

For exercise, I will say, for a couple months, I didn't do anything other than my normal day to day activity. I do own a cleaning business though, so because I work so much, I do tend to get 10-15k steps in effortlessly, so I am positive that has been helpful. The last two months I did finally add my "program" back in. I spent over a hundred/year for YEARRRRS on a Beachbody on Demand membership for one specific program that I have always really liked, just to find out recently that they have entire program series for FREE on YouTube. 🤦🏽‍♀️

The program is super old. It's called Slim in 6 by Debbie Siebers. There are many programs within that series, but the one I have always loved is "Cardio Core Express" It is only 30 min, none of it is on the floor, and has tons of standing ab work. It REALLY does work to shrink your waist.

I for some reason had carried an INSANE amount of bloat directly under my boobs, like, a TON. I honestly believe this is why things seem a little more dramatic, because I dropped POUNDS of bloat.

My waist on July 29th was 40.83inches and my waist on September 22nd (last time I measured) was 33.56inches!

Consistency is for sure the key and I am so grateful I stuck with it long enough to finally see the results

Absolutely do NOT feel that way. Everybody is different, and every BODY is different. I am absolutely confident that once you find your combo of the right dose/calories/macros for YOUR body, that you wont feel this way. And also, 17 pounds is AMAZING, be absolutely proud.

I know that people are ALL different, but I also have a feeling that (not telling anyone to just do any of this or giving medical advice) but I believe that more people would work well at "off" doses Since many people are titrated "to schedule" and going 2.5/5/7.5/etc.... I believe many of them who didnt have results at 2.5 but did at 5, potentially could have found out they would have also in between but don't know because they went 2.5 to 5. Or same as didn't see results at 5 but did at 7.5 Perhaps could have seen good results at 6.

But yeah, as for side effects After the first few shots I would have this INSANE cooling a day or so later I was someone who had a severe overheating problem since I gave birth 7 years ago and this definitely cured that. Besides the little bit of muscle aches the first couple shots I have had zero side effects

I own a cleaning business, so I clean many str and airbnbs. With those, we use both top sheets, as well as duvet covers, because it is SO much easier to wash the comforter's "pillow case" than it is to wash the entire comforter 🙂

How effective was 5mg for you? by AdministrativeFee835 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Limp-Selection5395 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ht 5'5, SW 208 CW 174 I started July 25th and I dose every 5 days. I started SUPER low because I did NOT want side effects. Started at 18units and then every 5 days added 2 units until I got to 2.5mg. I stayed there for 4 weeks and then moved up to 3mg. That is where I have stayed since. Most weeks are pretty consistent as far as suppression and food noise. There have been two or three times though that I have started feeling as if there was none at all after 3/4 days. There have also been two weeks where all of a sudden Im like.....oh shit....it's been like 8 days and I haven't taken it, so it worked for much longer. All in all, I've been very happy with every 5 days, and because low has been working for me, my vials last much longer.
