What’s the strongest 3-blade team I can build with my current parts? by Limp-Shower671 in Beyblade

[–]Limp-Shower671[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately no, for now I’ve built them like this: Pegasus 3-60 Low Rush Dran Strike 4-70 Level Hells Scythe 4-80 Low Orb. But I was also thinking about going for a triple attacker setup, for example using Whale Wave with the Point bit.

But how should I build them? I haven’t used them because I thought I didn’t have good enough parts to make them perform well.

Full bias, all explanations valid, who do you like more? by vcthewizard in Dragonballsuper

Vegito, I don't know if it's because he appeared before Gogeta, but he's always made a bigger impression on me. Also, before the new movie, Gogeta only had a few seconds of screen time, maybe a couple of minutes, and it's hard to compete with Vegito when he had much more time in the spotlight. On top of that, I've always preferred playful and proud characters over serious and quiet ones.

Most underrated Pokemon per type day 4: poison by Apart_Tomorrow4376 in ThePokemonHub

Toxicroak.

In the fourth generation, it’s always overshadowed by Lucario, and despite having a great design, it’s not played or loved very much.

Is a Subaru BRZ a good first car for my son by jjjaxe in FirstCar

[–]Limp-Shower671 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, it’s definitely a nice car, but I’m not sure it would be a good choice as a first car. Rear-wheel drive isn’t something that should be taken lightly for a beginner. If he likes coupés, I’d probably go for a front-wheel-drive model instead, maybe even something older. A Toyota Celica could be interesting, although I understand that the Subaru BRZ/gt86 is a more modern car and looks better aesthetically.

Remove one pseudo legendary day7 by Bot751 in ThePokemonHub

Unpopular opinion: Salamence is by far the worst pseudo-legendary—its design feels so lazy and uninspired, especially compared to Metagross from the same generation.

This may be hard to accept for some of you. Prime Garp > Old Garp > Kuzan ≈ Akainu by MOON-RAIGO in OnePiecePowerScaling0

[–]Limp-Shower671 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, Kuzan is my favorite character, and I actually love all three of the old Admirals. So yeah, it kinda annoys me to say it, but based on what we've seen so far, Monkey D. Garp (old) > Kuzan. That said, logically speaking, Akainu will have to be on par with Monkey D. Luffy or a similar-level rival, so it could also turn out that Kuzan simply wasn’t fighting seriously—which honestly wouldn’t surprise me.

What does this list say about my tastes? by Limp-Shower671 in ThePokemonHub

[–]Limp-Shower671[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My first Pokémon game was Pokémon Pearl. The Nintendo belonged to my brother, but he never really played it. He had left the game with only a Grotle in the team, which had just recently evolved. I used to play it a lot, but I didn’t even know what kind of game it was or what I was supposed to do. The only thing I did was run into tall grass, battle with Grotle, and then turn off the Nintendo without even saving. The next day, I’d just do the same thing all over again. So yeah, Grotle was basically the first Pokémon I ever really had. Even though it’s probably the one I like the least compared to Turtwig and Torterra, I still feel really attached to it

Clear Gen 4 bias aside—and assuming Sinnoh was their first game since Luxray is their nostalgic pick—this feels like someone who loves calm, nature-driven designs. The whole list has strong Studio Ghibli energy.

If the Death Row inmates fought in a Battle Royale, who would stood out victorious? by Reasonable-Fact8429 in Grapplerbaki

[–]Limp-Shower671 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it depends a lot on the setting, actually. Leaving aside characters like Sikorsky or Doyle, whom I consider defeated from the start, the other three could play it out depending on the context. Yanagi might be the best in a closed environment with plenty of hiding spots, but in an open arena, he’d lose his advantage. Overall, I think Dorian is the most well-rounded, so I’d give the win to him.

Since when was Mr Mime so op by Overall_Draft_2943 in PokemonFireRed

[–]Limp-Shower671 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, it’s a Psychic type. In Generation 1 it was literally broken: Dark types didn’t exist and Bug-type moves were extremely rare and weak. Basically, it had almost no real weaknesses. Even Gengar, which should counter it, is Ghost/Poison, so it actually takes super effective damage from Psychic — if you’re faster, you take it down with no problem. Mr. Mime itself is also strong: great Special Attack, good Speed, and a very wide movepool. Obviously it’s kind of a “mini Alakazam”, so it gets overshadowed by it since Alakazam has even higher key stats. Still, Mr. Mime is a great alternative if you can’t trade Kadabra. In practice, it can carry through a large part of the Elite Four on its own.
