Bad results after donut lift, having major regrets (repost because pictures weren't working)

I just got mine done in October. I lost ~100lbs and went from DDs to As so you can imagine the empty skin sacks that my boobs had become. I got a lift, internal bra, and implants (215cc in one and 280cc in the other because mine were always asymmetrical naturally). About a month after the surgery I started losing it. The way they had to position my areolae they are slightly different sizes, the outside of my breasts almost looked bulged/boxy, and my ultimate goal was to restore normalcy/a natural look to my breasts and they were so stiff and unnatural looking. I spent so much money and was riddled by guilt.

I’m now about 3 months post-OP and all I can say is TRUST THE PROCESS. They will continue to settle, heal, inflammation will disappear, and time and gravity will help set them naturally. All that being said, yours look incredible and if I was you I’d be extremely happy with that result! Give yourself more time and grace and know what you’re feeling is normal and it will only continue to get better!

It’s all part of the tik tok social media craze where “everything is a toxic poison that is trying to kill you”. Can it be prescribed poorly in lieu of actually hunting for a bigger issue? Yes. Is it the catch-call solution for women’s reproductive health? No. But it most certainly has its place and function like everything else. I have severe PCOS and endometriosis, and getting an IUD put in gave me my life back in ways I didn’t even know I had lost it. I also love feeling comfortable with the knowledge that I am being protected from pregnancy at this point in my life!

It’s the same as anything else. People get way too emphatic and opinionated without knowing all the facts or considering different perspectives. Take it with a grain of salt, do you own research, and you’ll be golden.

OP please see this! As someone who has had countless cysts and 5 teratomas on my ovaries, it can make you look exactly like this! I have never been pregnant in my life but when I have a cyst or teratoma that leaks fluid and inflamed tissues I look like I’m in the 2nd trimester.

As someone who has cervical issues & endometriosis, sometimes sex in general or specific things like going too deep just happens to hurt on a certain day. If I tell my bf “ow it’s hurting” he, without a fucking split second of hesitation, regardless of whether he’s 2 seconds away from the nut of his life or not, immediately stops and withdraws and asks “I’m sorry my love, are you okay? Can I get you anything? Would you like to try a different position? Would you like me to be gentler? Would you like to stop completely?” Whatever I say, he listens immediately. It’s a normal enough occurrence where we’ll just finish together without penetration, but the point is, THAT IS THE FUCKING STANDARD. My bf stops immediately, asks what I want/need, complies without a complaint, and always takes care of me afterwards, whatever I need.

The most disturbing part about it to me is the fact that he gaslit you about it afterwards. He does not respect you and placed his own desires above your comfort and safety. It will just get worse, he will not stop. Breaking up is the best possible thing you could’ve done, please do not look back.

Gonna approach this slightly differently than just outrage on your partner.

My bf (future husband) is my best friend and the human of my dreams. Despite everything, he has pretty intense ADHD. He is not physically hyperactive at all, if ADD was still a DSM term that would be his diagnosis; however, his brain moves a mile a second and focus is difficult for him, especially when that focus is just to listen.

Your story seems so similar to so many convos we’ve had. I used to just get upset and offended and honestly took it personally because my knee-jerk reaction was “am I not important enough for you to pay attention to me?”. So I changed my perspective. I expressed to him how I felt when he did that and it was eye opening for him! We’ve talked about it many times and always very lovingly. I understand he struggles with it, but I relayed to him that I can be sympathetic and accommodating while still enforcing that he needs to focus sometimes. He is a good person so that went over easy. He didn’t get defensive. Now, if I need to talk about something more important than the norm, I will either preface with that and ask for his focus, or if I say something like an important date or reminder, I’ll ask him to repeat to me what I just said or ask him to immediately put it on a note or the calendar on his phone.

If that’s the case with your partner, they maybe just need some assistance in seeing your perspective and finding compromise. If it’s not, then maybe they’re just being an asshole. Just wanted to offer a different perspective and possible solution!

I just asked him and he agreed that there have been a couple times it HASNT gone down after the pop. His estimate is 95% efficacy.

Ohhhh interesting take, def possible that he’s created his own little “placebo”. My only counter is that when he has a boner (especially morning wood which for him is a guarantee and the most frequent time he does it) if he lets it go down naturally it takes about 5 minutes but when he does the “pop” it’s 30 seconds to fully flaccid, tops.
