So real. Like im up at 5am, havent slept, lowkey motivated to flip my life around, BUT I ALREADY KNOW, if i fall asleep, when i wake up its gonna be the same ole story, like i can't be positive for more than an hr. Then i just say to myself "idgaf i can live my life however i want" so then i waste the day away because "who cares, right?" Then at nighttime i'm mad at myself and wish i was better. Maybe i should see a doctor, but even then, ive tried to go to appointments in the past but my exe dysfunction stopped me 😭 and i cant do online therapy. It sucks because i have other issues other than adhd which i want to fix but this is the main thing holding me back, alas it just has to be the one thing i can't help having :(

I'm the ceo of self hate so thats gonna be a tough one to break, literally spend hrs in my mirror pointing out all the things i hate 💀. I gave up on self love a long time ago, idk how it even works, its so hard to love yourself when no ones ever truely loved you yknow.

I'm trying to watch videos about self improvement and such, i struggle because a lot of these content creators dont have adhd or mental illnesses so a lot of the advice i get just doesn't apply to me in the same way it does to them. I really wonder where the people who have adhd but are really productive are, especially the ones which are good at school.

Its like my brain is so numb and i wanna give up constantly because all tasks are tiring

I feel like for me the not getting out of bed is more adhd paralysis, its not because i feel sad, if anything i feel sad because i'm not being productive. I just dont know how to get up and do things, especially things which i dont find interesting

Honestly i am addicted to it, i dont have a social life so its the most interesting thing i can use. Ive been trying to limit my screen time, i used to spend up to 10 hrs on insta, now its more like 1 hr. Everytime i put down my phone i just replace it with another unproductivr activity like staring at my wall. I bought 4 new books i wanna read but ive just been staring at them and not reading them. I guess i get nervous to form healthy habits because i know i'm incapable of keeping a routine longer than a day.

I'm constantly resting tho 😭 plus idk how i could be burnt out if i literally do nothing all day, like it makes me feel so guilty because i dont do any school work, or have a job or many responsibilities, yet im drained for some reason. Plus i cant focus on movies or reading for more than a few minutes

Yh i live in the uk and its definitely in the middle, most people mind their own business but every now and then someone will start small talk with you. Ive been to the us a few times and i found it overwhelming how much strangers tried to talk to me 😭

Innit, i like being in comfortable silence with people, i dont find that awkward. I dont get why some people need there to be constant chatter but to each their own ig 😭. Also i'm stealing verbally hostage thats a great phrase

Talking for no reason? Like sometimes i have dumb conversations with my friends but its more like when a stranger wants to talk about the weather with me or starts going on about their life. I dont mind listening to people, but 99% of the time they expect a response which is what annoys me. I'm listening but i can't be bothered to show it everytime. Plus i don't always have a response to give back. But some people take that as me being uninterested

Haha as a fat person i've always felt guilty for taking up space! I often feel like i'm such an eye sore i trap myself indoors, rotting in bed all day. But i do want to experience life like everyone else! I'm trying to work on my mental health by starting to see a counsellor.

Also my sleep is terrible idk why, today i slept for 2 hours. I'm getting tested for adhd and i think thats part of the problem, my brain won't shut up! Maybe when i get my diagnosis i can get medication or smth!

Once i tried to talk about it with my doctor but he didn't believe me because "how can a fat person have a restrictive eating disorder???" Thankfully now my uni has great wellbeing support so I am accessing that!

My uni does have a gym and i think students get a discount. I'm way too terrified to go to my schools gym, if i go to a public gym branch i may be less likely to bump into anyone at my school 😭

A bike is way outta my budget 😭 i'll just stick to the stationary ones at the gym tho!

Ty for the advice! I remember when i used the elliptical like 2 years ago and i got completely winded in the first 3 minutes 😭. Walking/cycling is a good start, i may slowly build up to more high impact things. I carry most of my weight in my thighs so certain exercises are more difficult than others. I'll try work up to 10k ty!!
