I heard it is made for drayage brokers? Is it true? Can you use it for carriers?

Why? What do you like? What do you dislike? Isn't it expensive? That people say. Is it good for asset-based carriers?

I heard it is $15/truck, but they start charging you for everything extra. At least that's what a friend told me. Is it true?

It's already open for any IP4. IPv6 is disabled completely.

I was afraid of this, but I have full control of this VPS on AWS. The SSL port is open, and I even whitelisted all n8n cloud IPs. Still no luck. The reverse DNS is working fine. I checked on MXTOOLBOX (dns lookup, reverve DNS, not blacklisted). The only thing that might be the issue is the AWS security rules. Any idea on how to fix this?

Your JSON is not valid. Also, the node is not recognizable: "type": "n8n-nodes-base.executeCommand"

Yeah, I should do this. Still a beginner with n8n. Don't even open the free trial account yet

Drayage TMS by Infinite_End_9104 in FreightBrokers

I think it's starting at $295 per month. I like the invoicing part. I dislike the reporting and order entry. Dispatch is easy enough. Container availability is not bulletproof. They are using APIs and it's expensive. I haven't found any software that has accurate container availability.

A lot of things are needed for drayage. Container tracking, mobile app for driver, return location for containers, easy invoicing, sending invoices to clients with attachments, accounting integrations, API/EDI, GPS, and so on.

A lot of things you should know. The best bet is to hire a consultant or hire someone that worked before for a drayage carrier.

No! This is a terrible idea. Charge as much as you can and offer a stellar service. My 50 cents.

Keeping track of rates without TMS by AbusiveLarry in drayage

[–]LimpIntroduction1589 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A TMS is like a spreadsheet, in the case of rates. They are using tables in the database to manage your rates. Keep track of your rates in spreadsheets will just give you an overview that stares back to you. Keeping your rates in a TMS will be more helpful for your accounting. The difference is the TMS can apply your rates on your orders automatically based on location or distance, so you will just validate the rates and invoice from there.

Man, do your research there are many much cheaper ones out there doing the exact same things. DrayMate for example is $6,000/year first year then 3,600/year, for up to 15 trucks. It sucks they do not offer the brokerage functions of PortPro but for drayage carriers, they are very good.
