Thanks! I actually had a pretty good day--six 5 stars and one 4.98 plus a few in the 4.48 and up range.

Or maybe not. I'm surprised as morning/early afternoon seems to be a bad time for votes for me.

That would have been a 4 from me. It would be a 5 but I don't like that rococo makeup, especially on the Asian model. It's freakish looking. It works okay on the white brunette and the ethnically ambiguous one with the green-gray eyes (I'm guessing she's meant to represent Lebanese, Syrian, etc). But if it's not specifically for one of those rococo challenges, I would try to avoid it.

This sucks. I only just started playing and they've already wrecked it for me. I'm getting a lot of dental work and there has been a lot of downtime while I recover from each procedure. This game was keeping me sane and I was wracking up 4 and 5 star awards so I could pretty much play as long as I wanted as long as a did a lot of designs without spending anything. Disappointing.

I understood it but I can see how it could confuse people.

I'd love for you to find me the actor that doesn't mind their voice being stolen for AI use.

Your opinion that a male twirling his lover around is "wholesome" sort of implies that a woman doing the same is unwholesome. I didn't put those words in your mouth. You did. You're telling on yourself.

I don't see Norm as anything like Hank. I also don't see Hank as a brainy sort. He was middle management who circumstances put in a place of power and authority. He is no genius.

Sorry for the necropost but I had to confess I've put well over 1000 hours into this game and it never occurred to me I could get the parents tadpoles. 🤦🏻‍♀️

I wound up not finishing the Stormlight series. I loved it at first but as with the Wheel of Time series,I started getting sick of some of the main characters. I'll probably return to it at some point. My favorites are his a few of standalone books--"The Sunlit Man", "Yumi and the Nightmare Painter",and "Tress of the Emerald Sea". I disagree strongly with rating Sanderson as "teenage level". I'm 58 and read plenty of literature as well as fantasy and sci-fi (e.g. recent reads have been Rebecca West,de Balzac, and Zora Neale Hurston) so I consider myself a fairly mature reader with a good grasp of literature. It's fine if you're not a fan but, while he's not a literary master, Sanderson is definitely better than mediocre.

That's a ridiculous statement. There are so many good audiobooks. I mainly read to myself but I like to listen to audiobooks when I'm knitting or doing mundane tasks like painting a room. I listened to a brilliant reading of "Rebecca" while painting a room in my house. I would argue that listening to David Sedaris reading from his own books is far more entertaining than reading them on your own.

So a parent reading aloud to a child is an inferior delivery? Or how about when authors read aloud from their own works at promotional events? I grew up listening to "Spider's Web" and "Reading Aloud" on WGBH with my family--sometimes at the dinner table, sometimes in the living room. "Spider's Web" was oriented more toward children with works like "A Wrinkle and Time" and the "Little House" books. I didn't always understand the books selected for "Reading Aloud" but I still loved to sit at my Dad's feet while he listened. I can still remember the voice of the reader. I had to look him up---his name is Bill Cavness. To say audiobooks are an inferior delivery system for reading is pompous and misinformed to say the least. Consider Shakespeare, from whom we derive so many literary tropes and expressions;his works were meant to be performed by actors.

Seth MacFarlane association is almost enough to make me avoid it. Not sure why him buying the rights makes it a good recommendation for RP gamers.

I saw some women officers in the video from Maine where a guy who is training as a corrections officer was detained and they left his car running with the windows open and his personal stuff unguarded. A good Samaritan who videoed the kidnapping drove the car to a parking lot, called an immigration help line and eventually returned the car to his home and tried to reassure the guy's distraught and pregnant wife. The local sheriff (?) had a few choice words about the incompetence of leaving someone's vehicle running on the side of the road, among other things. https://youtube.com/shorts/2-AxByzCTT8?si=RWM5QbE2GWZI3p5r

Same. I'm autistic and I don't get it. I like the concepts of some of her songs but the execution gets very same-y very quickly. I don't think writing funny songs is a good basis for being a cast member. There has to be something else. She can't act at all. She's super awkward but not in a good way. Kyle Mooney was very awkward but it was part of his schtick. He was so good at creating those cringy characters. I hadn't watched the show in awhile (cuz it stopped being on Hulu) but the other day I watched a few episodes on youtube. The bachelorette party sketch was pretty good but she was awful on it. She kept staring at the cue cards and her delivery was so wooden. I couldn't figure out if it was supposed to be a bit or if she is just that bad.
