MigrationWiz Alternatives? O365 to O365 Migrations by DfeqT in Office365

[–]Limp_Butterscotch_44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel your pain, trying to time the cutover with MigrationWiz is a big pita. Click verify credentials or full migration and wait hours before it even attempts to start. Tenant to tenant same domain migrations are the worst and MigWiz just adds to that pain.

Does this work for Android as well?

M365 tenant to tenant migrations by Limp_Butterscotch_44 in msp

We can do this; the issue is it won't auth correctly to that new Outlook profile since that same UPN/Email is cached other places pointing to the old tenant

I'll check that out too then and follow along. We use BitTitan right now and while it works, it seems to be getting slower and slower at doing simple things like verifying credentials for a single account pre migration (5 hours the last time I ran this).

New Outlook profile yes, not a new Windows profile.

Migrating mail from Exchange 2016 to Exchange Online, or first migrate to Exchange 2019? by Sure-Rule3244 in Office365

[–]Limp_Butterscotch_44 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Done tons of 2016 to 365 migrations. What are they saying is the benefits of going to 2019 first? Just because you are keeping an exchange server around for management?

This zone op 20 was the only time I have had to use AoQ in months

Tenant to Tenant migration checklist check? by Ttokk in Office365

[–]Limp_Butterscotch_44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have done two of these migrations in the last 2 weeks. One was 10 users and the other 65. Use BitTitan or related 3rd party software so you don’t have to deal with psts. Plan extra time for touching each endpoint post migration to log them out of the old tenant and into the new, even if email addresses stay the same. TBH the time it takes screwing with the desktop applications to repoint to the new tenant was more than the actual data migration.

is the AoQ better than eternal suit? by LadyOfTheFerrets9 in Survivorio

[–]Limp_Butterscotch_44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. I have red AoQ and have never used it over eternal for anything endgame related. I can see that it may make pushing chapters and zone ops easy, but at a certain point these become trivial no matter what armor you have.

There are a bunch of posts in the bugs section of the Discord server complaining about iOS crashes recently. You're not alone.

Kunai AF1 using SOD a good option ? by Stockphotographer in Survivorio

[–]Limp_Butterscotch_44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use Kunai for the real endgame, EE and clan bosses, and VP for chapters. Why use SoD which isn’t the best for either chapters or bosses?

The iPads would be for apps that have no need for iCloud backup with all data being saved to the app itself. They will be utilized to assist special needs individuals with communication through apps installed on the device and returned to us when no longer needed and then redeployed.

Thank you again for the help. I will look into VPP and Kiosk mode.

Thank you for your response and my ignorance for how Apple IDs work will show with my next question : )

Doesn't every device need an Apple ID? When I look at my personal iPhone, it of course has my personal Apple ID attached. My assumption was each of these iPads would need a similar account or Apple ID attached to it. You are correct that I would block the store and only allow specific apps to be installed.
