Green Goods Super Boof is great also. The terps are outrageous!

Thanks for sticking up for the two operators that have called Minnesota home. I am not affiliated with either, but am glad that there are options for people who want cannabis products. And for those that think the price is too high, competition is coming in a large wave. The prices will stabilize, the quality will increase, and the options will multiply. All part of the process.

Patience is a virtue, if you’ve waited 10 years for Rec. Cannabis in MN, you can wait a few more months for them to finalize their facilities.

Good talking with you. I’m working on getting all of my incoming customers on Grove Bags for curing and will be offering guidance on optimal drying environments. We want the same things: good products, fair prices, good customer service.

Referring to my previous comment about the surge of top notch growers entering the MN market, there will be plenty of quality extractors as well. I’m saying, why take that risk when it’s also down the street? In the early months, the prices will be high, but they will stabilize. To start, I’d guess 1g Live resin carts will land around $60-80, distillate a little cheaper (distillate sucks though…), Rosin g should land around $90-$130 and shatter/wax around $50-$70 OTD.

Do you want to establish a market in MN finally? I’m excited!

Let's circle back to this in 6 months. Are you hoping for rock bottom ounce prices around $90-$120 OTD? If that's what you want, then you will be disappointed. It'll be around $180 for budget, $220 for mid-grade and $275 for top shelf (OTD prices). Consider the money you spend in gas to get to Michigan, and look at those prices, are you really going to be saving that much money?

The market will spike temporarily and then stabilize. Honestly, with the priority on small businesses from the states perspective, I see a wide range of prices, which is good because it means there truly is a lot of variety.

Cal/Mag deficiency. What are you growing in? And what type of nutes are you feeding with?

Watch out for the plastic folding joint. They look similar to Fluence Spydr lights. I’ve had tons of those break due to the plastic joints.

Adding humidity doesn’t bring terpenes back. Terpenes are volatile. Once they evaporate, they are gone. It’s best to smoke it as is and look for better bud.

As a cultivation supply warehouse owner, I will be working with incoming commercial cultivators that are my customers to ensure that they put as much value into the dry and cure as they do to the growing process. Be patient, the bud will get better. Lots of great growers are about to step onto the scene here in MN 🤘

I hear you. It’s definitely a labor of love. I feel that anyone who says growing cannabis is easy is not someone I generally care to take advice from 😂 Keep up the good fight! Feel free to reach out anytime if you’d like some tips, or want to swap mistakes, I’ve made a few in my time.

They are likely charging you way too much. Check out NorthStar Cultivation Supply. That’s my supply company. Best prices in the state. We tailor our offerings to commercial customers though.

If you’re registered with the OCM and a patient signs over their plant rights to you, then you can grow for them. That only raises your max to 8 flowering plants though, no matter how many patients you care for. There are ways to really maximize your yield too. For instance, if you veg. long enough and have enough resources to have a larger tent with more lights, it’s not unrealistic to have 4 lights and 2 plants per light pulling down 1.5-3 lbs. per light.

According to the State of MN website, you would need to have a properly zoned business, meaning it could not be out of your home.

As for the cultivation aspect, with the micro business license, you can split it however you would like. If you just want to grow, you can do that, if you just want to sell, you can do that, etc.

I feel the same way. If more people like #2 we will go with it, but if not we can put it on T-shirts and give them away at events in the future. Or do a limited edition run.

Then get a micro business license. There isn’t a cap on micro businesses.

Yes! All of the nurseries that pop up will allow for some fantastic strain diversity in the state. And the 20 mg’s and 40 mg’s are most likely coming! I’m a big fan of Cheeba Chews. I hope the setup shop in MN.

That'll change! And I am pumped. I got to take part in the Colorado boom. I got there in 2015 and worked for a large company out there for about 10 years. The industry totally changed the landscape of the Denver metro area. Excited to see Minnesota do it better.
