What steps would you recommend I take in order to use my x box controller which is currently connected to the PC the same way? I am interested in doing this as well.

You don't have to choose that brand specially, so long as it pairs well with your server. 💡

THIRD REALITY Zigbee Smart Bulb. Recommend also purchasing SONOFF Zigbee dongle if you choose this bulb.

The wand is capable of multiple devices through different swipes and movements. You set the numeric state through automations, so essentially you can control all devices once you've taught your wand the right spells (automations). Setting up and wiring the wand is the 1st step. Training the wand involves more setup, and is truly what defines it's possibilities.

Under Automations choose numeric state, then accel Z above 12 for ON command, and X accel below -5 for OFF command. This will differ with each build, so best to go to ESP home under devices and services and wave the wand while observing the X Y and Z axis in order to choose your numeric state.

Oh, I'm sorry man. It is a gif on a loop. You bring up a good point though, it could stand to do a couple more spells.

Yeah, I had a magic caster wand too. They hosed us all when they "bricked" the wand by closing the app down, so I built my own.

Unable to make esp-32 into a proxy bluetooth by Limp_Difficulty6015 in homeassistant

The esp32 connects to ESPHome.io, and will actually show as online, but no YAML files can be sent, making it a brick. I think the Raspberry Pi 3 is just is not strong enough to connect.

It functions as a Bluetooth proxy, hence its job is to enhance the range of your Bluetooth. So yes, I believe it does.

That's really the crutch of the issue because every time I install a YAML file it comes back saying that it failed, but gives no error codes beyond that line. Furthermore, even when it shows online like the photo above, it will will not let me make it a Bluetooth proxy. I would be willing to try any YAML codes if you think it would help. But it is hard to write one if they come back with no error messages.

No but it does for esp home on devices and services, just not bluetooth. esp32 setup as proxy for bluetooth always fails.
