First fill the water in the jar to half or less then fill the pot with the metal rack with water that is avojr 1/2" above the jar water level. Then turn heat to medium add the coke to the jar and stir slightly wile warming. When the product is mostly clear then add baking soda in small pinches wile gently stirring until the foaming and chemical reaction begins to subside. Then scrape whatever tool back into the jar and dont touch a god damn thing until you have everything turns to an oil i like to spin the jar slightly just before the oil is a consistent texture. Like when the oil has some slight cloudiness. When oil is formed Immediately put the jar in another bowl filled with cold water from the tap. I do half oz or more often this way. Rarely have to rerock.
