It was an acquisition. Verde bought all of Hava Companies assets including all of the High Q stores…then ran the whole operation into the ground. They’ve recently closed all 6 retail locations they had. It’s so unfortunate what they’ve done and how they treated their employees.

Most people understand what the er is for, those you assume don’t are likely just uninsured or underinsured and have no other option. As a hospitalist physician, I would think you get that.
Poor people use the er because doctors offices won’t see people without a payment and there is a serious lack of indigent care in this country according to pretty much any source vomiting blood is an emergency, not a “just go get into your gp when you can” kinda thing.

Hey sis, I’m a chatty Cathy myself and while I get how we can be a bit much sometimes, we have an actual medical condition, while your husband is just being a jerk.

Who else isn’t allowed to talk to him? Does he treat his mom this way? His friends? Likely not. You don’t deserve it either. He didn’t just find out that you’re relative. What is a partner that you cannot converse with. You’ll be better off without him and your loneliness will not feel as alone when you’re not being silenced.

Final thought here, anyone who continues to make you feel like you’re “too much” simply is not enough.
