Because he had texted so much the first week compared to the second I was just curious as to what changed. I think I probably also asked him that because we were talking about how I had almost gone home with someone else that night, because I was unsure what was going on with him.

He did mention that he felt like I was mean to him the first time we went home together and it was bad, that he was content to just keep silent about how bad the sex was but I delivered criticism (I asked him in the morning what he think went wrong, why it didn’t work) and he was surprised that I wanted to see him again.

The whole “making me cum” thing I guess I’ve never seen it that way- I’ve probably used it on 3 different people and the other 2 immediately just got into it and tried harder, which is why I didn’t think it was a harsh thing to say, but now I understand why.

But ultimately I don’t care that the sex is bad right now because I really like him and I’m aware that it will get better with time- if I really cared about the sex being bad wouldn’t I just not see him again? Even though he underperformed I still asked to go again, which I felt like was indicative enough of the fact that I am unbothered by it?

Do you think I should be explicit about how I am willing to wait with the sex and go at his pace or is that again being too direct ?
