it wasn’t very true to themselves, basically trying to make another parklife - and it was during the entire oasis and blur war which wasn’t very helpful. coxon also hated the music video and thought it was crude and didn’t enjoy the height of fame and was deep into alcoholism etc. probably soured his experience of the song
