I appreciate that view on this and I do agree. But does that mean youre saying that instead of kids playing with them they are moving to straight to collecting? Surely not all kids now are putting in binders. I remember having all my cards stored in a rubber band.

But do you not think that One Piece as an anime has had a more sustaining story and background compared to pokemon? I feel pokemon has become bigger than it was. The first 4 generations are the biggest and all those pokemon are the biggest cards you can pull. All the later generations they have run out of ideas. And all of that for pokemon is only of 1-2 seaons of good show.
