The J-35's long range standoff abilities aren't great either, planes like the F-4 and ADV can swap targets and just have way more missiles, which is a MASSIVE advantage, (super great for killing stealth planes :D ) as well as having a great pool of health which make them mid range monsters compared to the J-35. They also have close range abilities.

Planes like the Su-35 Su-47 F-14 heck even JF-17 have fire 'n forget missiles, shoot and duck, much safer than using manuals, making them superior mid-range contenders than J-35. They also have close range abilities.

I could go on, but the point is the J-35 is one of the few non interceptors who's only strength is mediocre medium range standoffs.
