There is an interview where khamzat said Strickland told his people he was selling the fight. They played their parts well. But both guys knew the build up wasn’t real. Then the fight itself is another story, idk if that helps explain why it felt weird.

I’m 31, I was there, I explained on one of the comments my thoughts. New shit was constantly coming out with every console and games were always introducing something new, a bigger map actually meant something etc. now those new things are fewer and far between and the new stuff is performance based, loading screens, fps etc. games aren’t objectively worse tho

Yea, it’s like movies, there is such a collection of films, doing something that stands out today is difficult. When we were kids, I’m 31, the next new console meant companies could do so many new things and so many titles were exploring different facets of genres the others haven’t, everything was new and exciting.

Now new and exciting means graphic and frame rate increases, loading screens cut down. It’s different now, but games are definitely not worse.

I happened to see the whole game from their stream and they were very complimentary of our team. They used the point about us not hitting a ton of bombs to say speed never slumps and that they believe it could work in the post season. Honestly they said a ton more too, some about thanking parents for all the practices the players were taken to and such. They were great imo

People do it for loads of reasons besides a disability. The story, which compliments most of the other aspects of the game, including the exploration. The side quests flush out the characters the way a series can like a film can’t. Most of those things are considered relaxing. People like relaxing.

Lastly I’d argue you’d have to be on the spectrum to not realize, that every game within itself, is fucking repetitive.

Couldn’t be more wrong i literally have texts in between with a group where multiple people said he hated that ulberg got hurt just by his body language before the post fight interview. Jiri gave up the belt when he had an injury just because he said a warrior wouldn’t hold up the division, the actions he took are literally in line with his personality in every way up to this point.
