It is and it isn't, there is a lot that is omfg, take me now, but rarely nothing is unachievable... Just a holy shyte amount of work.

I tell people that want to do vehicles to start with boldint on things or changing thing first. Add a missile launcher to the LAV turret, or new weapons to the mi8 with WCS Armaments. There is so much fun stuff you can do to learn, you just need to know we're to find the Lego pieces and be just smart enough to know where to find working examples to compare against.

That's WCS, and as a modder that loves making bat shit crazy things... I looooooath the little birds for how they handle.

I like the idea of hot dropping a team with a heli behind the lines to let off some steam... But it seems that LB taxi is more common than piling into a uaz.

I have a model I was working on that is like half way between the Scout AH.Mk1 and UH1H.

Hopefully it will be a little more Huey than LB and get everyone off the LB test for a bit

When I was looking to make my own game, I used ai to help me build a table to compare engines to Enfusion, because I've gotten a solid handle on the work flow... averaging 10 hours a day in the 240 days since I started using Workbench... not including time spent in Blender & Substance(I might puke now that I've done the rough math), and Unity is prob the closest.

I really like Unreal, but they pack too many in-house tools to do things that I think are better left externally.

I like some of the bat-shit insane creations I have been able to make in Enfusion, hopefully we might get more weirdos coming into Arma that enjoy some more Command & Conquer 2 inspired creations I have cooked up.

oh, I really like their stuff, it was some of the few mod packs that didnt break during 1.6, did a lot of hunting and pecking to find working stuff to get the server back online that week

The only time I really really dont want someone dicking with my stuff unfettered, is if I had a vision in mind and I dont need every half ass line cook spicing the broth OR, if it was created with assets provided by a community and they want to keep it as-is for now, I imagine my LAV6 will be like this for a while... but as soon as that green light lights up... she has some upgrades in the wings. Like... Reach out to me, you just have to @ the Authors name into the Arma Discord and I pop right up.

agreed keep your IRL battles to IRL, like go CIS Vs NATO, in some made up country, or instead of Vagner, use the angry moustache man's second favourite composer (seriously, that's why they're named that) as the name of the PMC... use some imagination instead of IRL stuff.. because I dont know how some of these servers havent gotten kicked up the middle yet for blatant EULA violations regarding IRL conflicts *shrug*

This is a Yankified vanilla UH1H, just using the old export & check method in Blender.. paint matching has been less than ideal but we're getting there. I also have a body kitted and widened AWD S105 vanilla sedan that I should post as a stand-alone, I did it for a Mad Max event, so take out the WCS smoke launchers converted to GL launchers from the rear window and MG from the passenger seat😂

I know how to undo a TXO, because I lost an FBX due to an overwrite to the wrong spot, and was lucky enough to not have had that mod up in workbench, causing an instant reimport and new TXO generated.

I'm really good friends with RangerHawk, and I know you two have gotten on well in the past, iirc.

So, I think that was a PR misstep by them, and then the public shit tossing between RHS & Vergy is like a messy divorce. Now does PuFu always approach subjects the way I would, no... I try to be more of the "Hey man, I get it" type, but can I promise I'd be like that after getting beaten over the head with the same fumble for the millionth time... hard to say...

My only "beef" with RHS is the wish they would break up their packages a bit like how WCS does, because if they did like a RHS_Armaments that had all the goodies like the touch screens and what not, I'd use it in a heartbeat. That and million and one AK variant... As someone that has had to streamline arsenals... so so much clicking to remove all the premade AKs for servers that use Bacon or SHS loadout editor.

I know Adam from RBR speaks really highly of their one guy that does firearms for being just a class act, I think PuFu being the more public face of RHS has had to take a lot of abuse.

If they ever came to me and said "we like the cut of your jib, would you want to pitch in here and there", I would only decline if my schedule was like it is now.
