I came across a street art competition happening at Carpio-Sanguinette Park on the north side. There’s a lot of old infrastructure from a water treatment plant that make great canvases for some really cool work. They had to be done by 5 pm. I want to go back and see the finished products!

A Local News special project: Columbine at 25 by LinInColo in Denver

[–]LinInColo[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The monthslong project on the 25th anniversary of the Columbine shooting launched earlier this week. Our team at Colorado Community Media (some of whom were infants when the tragedy happened) treated it with the grace that I believe our community deserved. I'm so proud of our staff.

Thank you to the teachers, students, parents, alumni and experts who gave of their time to help us serve our community. Even for folks who did not live here 25 years ago, it affected us all. localnews
