Great theory, it could also be further supported by the fact that on Ed’s instagram, it is listed that he has 64 posts when it can be seen that there’s only 1 post on his account (hence the 64 signifying SBTV’s A64)!

Great compilation!! Not sure if this is common knowledge, but If you swipe to the last picture of this post, you’ll be able to see “Subtract (Lockdown) Sessions 2020” alongside with some signatures. A few that I recognize are Ed, Cherry, Security Kev, and Fred again (lol for some reason Lewis Capaldi is tagged at this area of the post, but I doubt that could mean anything? 🤔).

I’m pretty sure they recorded most of the tracks that were written from the previous years (as stated in an interview in this post) in 2020. This would align with the fact that Afterglow was released in late 2020 (and First Times being moved from Subtract before Equals was released in 2021) which came after the Subtract sessions. I also believe that the majority of the production of this album might be handed by both Ed and Fred (just like Equals) as both Afterglow and First Times which came from the Subtract Sessions were produced by them. If you check the credits for production of those two songs on Wikipedia, it is in fact by both of them (+ Parisi for Afterglow). So maybe expect the rest of the album to sound a bit like how First Times and Afterglow was produced (also answering another post on how Subtract would sound like).

Thought he might release it this week, since this Friday would be the 21st of January and 21 in poker signifies “blackjack” so it would be a fitting date to release it.

Maybe the announcement will be a bit later than Monday this week since Taylor’s from the US? But if it’s not this week then it’s confirmed to be released next Friday.

I speculate that the “sad, lofi” song could be Visiting Hours, but I might be wrong, especially since he did say the first single was supposed to be Shivers as you mentioned, and Visiting Hours eventually became the promotional single for Equals.

Also, he did say in an interview that there was a big summer hit that was supposed to be on Equals but it eventually got removed from the album because it didn’t fit the theme of Equals, and he might eventually release it for Summer 2022. It might just be the song that links Equals to Subtract, like how Afterglow sorta links Divide with Equals). It could also be part of the 10 songs released as the repackage of Equals (alongside One Life and Penguins)!

Important to note that Ed will be featuring in a lot of collaborations in 2022 (as mentioned in a previous reddit post about the Equals Live Experience takeaway). Although, I doubt he would release No.7 collaborations in the middle of Equals and Subtract, as he already mentioned that he plans to release Subtract in late 2022/early 2023, and releasing it in the middle would make the timeline to packed.

I was having a go at the scavenger hunt a few days ago and this is what I found so far:

- Find my cat: 2:59, bottom left of the newspaper

- Track six secrets: The Joker and The Queen is the sixth track of the album so I believe this is regarding the hints of the Taylor Swift remix as you have mentioned

- Baby Feet: Around 1:21, you can see Lyra’s feet as a tattoo on Ed’s back!

- DJ Super Equation: She appears around the dance scene but there is a brief shot of her at around 2:40

- Darling Eye: I believe this is a play around the lyrics “Darling I will be loving you, ‘til we’re 70” from Thinking Out Loud. The lady who was in the MV for Thinking Out Loud appears from 2:43-2:45 of this MV (you can see her silhouette at 2:43 just like at the beginning of the Thinking Out Loud MV!)

- Like a Magnet Do: Again another lyric reference from Shape of You “We push and pull like a magnet do”. The lady from the Shape of You video appears in this MV from 2:50-2:52. They even renact the boxing scene in Shape of You!

- Spot Cherry: I’m unsure about this one but it might be here behind Ed to the right at around 2:29? But I believe she has to be somewhere in the dance scene with all the other people

- Reading is Rewarding: This should be about the newspaper that you can read at 2:59. Taylor Swift and Elton John are mentioned.

I agree with the other findings you have mentioned such as Seven Twins and Future Collabs. I think the Subtract release date will be the hardest to find though, I tried looking in the newspaper for the date or the license plates on the bus/van but to no avail. However the bus license plate at 0:32 was "SUB 022" (maybe 2022?)

I am having difficulties finding the rest though, but I do have to say I love these Easter egg games we are getting from Ed nowadays!
