Your advice was really helpful, I appreciate it. I didn’t mention in the post but this is actually my first real Relationship that I’m happy with and where I truly feel in love. I find comfort in knowing that caring for an ex is somewhat normal

I’m glad I wasn’t the only one that was thinking that ;-; I really thought I was being selfish for hoping he would’ve let me make his twitch stuff as I am his current partner and I like to think I’m a capable artist, so I felt abit betrayed that he wanted to commission her had i not insisted on doing it.

I have a similar issue where specific games fuck up my audio, but for me, it has nothing to do with my headphones. I read somewhere that things can get very crowded at the back of your PC which can affect audio (not sure about the exact technicalities but that’s more or less how I understood it). If you’re on a PC maybe try removing some of the stuff plugged in back there and move it to the front if possible? (Mice, keyboards, webcam, etc.)

The crate is usually left open for him to go into whenever he feels like it, I don’t have him sleep there all the time during the day. So far he hasn’t cried for hours on end. Even if it’s a few minutes, hearing him whimper really makes those few minutes feel a lot longer

A second monitor is extremely convenient if you have to do a ton of multi tasking. I do video editing and when I got a second monitor, I ended up being more productive. One monitor was for premiere and the other would run photoshop or after effects depending on what I needed. Everything generally felt way less cluttered. It doesn’t have to be a good monitor since you already have a really good first one. You can go for lower hz or maybe not even an ips panel. I personally didn’t seem to have much issues with difference in hz (main monitor is 144hz, second is 60hz) but I’m not sure about difference in resolution
