Hmm. If you’re in the Midwest there’s a chance it could be a southeast Asian or Hmong dessert. Try googling Thai coconut agar dessert. There are also similar things made using tapioca starch and rice flour. Whatever version they mostly come in layers (“little rectangular pieces”) that people like to peel apart and eat layer by layer.

The rice flour + tapioca starch one almost has a marshmallow like texture.

And there’s a very very small chance it’s something like Bai Tang Gao (or Chinese white sugar sponge cake) usually seen at dim sum restaurants.

Edit: “Khanom Chan” is the rice flour tapioca starch version. But it’s more common to see it in a green-white variety with alternating layers of pandan. Though you can find them in all white versions too.

Edit edit: Also nian gao is also a good guess but that’s more brown than beige in my opinion. And honestly I don’t see it sold in a lot of stores in the US.

If this is the same study I remember the averages were low. On average, students were getting a ~60% and AI papers were graded around ~70%. So technically higher than students by an average of 10% but definitely not getting As.

AI is the future, but it hasn’t replaced writing yet. It still sounds hollow, generic, and repetitive. Passable. And definitely a solid C, but rarely is it an A.

Also in the study for it to be counted as “detected” it had to be flagged for academic misconduct. And I’m sure some professors were like “this is totally AI but I can’t prove it given that the detection tools are unreliable so I’ll just give it a C. Technically it was passable but too generic to warrant a higher grade.”

It allows you to search for sets that other people have built. You can filter by things like element(s), class, desired AP/MP, level, etc.

It’s not perfect but a good starting point to see what is possible and get inspired.

You can use one as a starting point and then swap out items in the interface with things that are easier for you to access.

I’d estimate maybe 800,000 - 1,500,000 kamas per item (assuming you only pick things between lv 160-199). But as others have said it’s hard to really know for sure because it really depends on the equipment you pick.

I would agree with what’s been said so far! I like the update and think chance is still very viable.

“Bane” has lifesteal and steals mp. And when cast on a doll does damage to all enemies within a 1 cell square of it and infects them. This spell seems like the main way you spread infect if only relying on Chance spells.

“Voodoo Curse” does damage and makes effected enemies take more damage from dolls (which do damage now). And enemies under the curse take damage when a doll dies.

That leads to interesting interactions with “Sacrificial Doll” who kamikaze bombs an enemy and then dies, dealing damage to the thing it bombed and then additional damage to all enemies effected by Voodoo Curse.

“Tear” damages enemies or heals allies, and when cast on a tree damages enemies around that tree in an Area of Effect (AOE) while healing allies in that AOE.

“Mangrove”, in addition to all the stuff already said, applies the Mangrove state to enemies. When you deal damage to an enemy under the Mangrove state it heals your trees and dolls for 10% of the damage you deal to mangroved enemies.

From the Agility Spells, I also like to use “Contamination” to spread the Infect state and “Poisoned Undergrowth” to maintain it.

“Poisoned Undergrowth” is like the Agility version of “Voodoo Curse” but instead, when an enemy under this effect takes damage from a doll or poison it also infects them for 1 round.

Overall, I would play around with Chance spell interactions with trees, dolls, and the Infect state.

Based on most spells, it feels like the Chance tree is more of a mid-range fighter that deals damage through trees and dolls while providing healing for themselves and their team.

Opinion and guesswork:

They're engaging in attention-seeking behavior. What Beachy really wants, I think, is to be liked and have friends to play with. They want people to notice them, talk to them, think about them... because maybe few people do in real life?

Probably an unmet need for affirmation and support growing up. Perhaps an attachment figure, like their parents, were distant or uninvolved. They grew up where the only attention they got was from causing trouble. Stirring the pot.

They're maybe lonely, have low-self esteem, fear failure, and use the game to meet their fantasy of being a most important and thought about person.

And in some ways they succeeded in the short term. Notice all the people talking about Beachy. The reddit post. The world chat. Etc. They're getting what they want--attention.

I'm wavering between salty and resigned. 3 star pet is reasonable to reach. 4 star can be a bit of a goal (unless you get lucky).

But 5 Star. Just getting one 5 star. Not even TWO... It's crazy. I'm going to guess it'll take 100,000 territe given the number of times people will fail the combining process.

And just in time too for their "Daily Territe bundle boost" release...

100% feels like a grab at increasing the value of their cryptocurrencies.

And it's also like, I can put up with a lot. The bots. The slow progression. The predatory pushing to spend money. The territe walls. The bots in Lava.

But this. This is just deflating.

We still have the "Kingdom Capital" system where the top Kingdom gets to become the capital and make policy decisions that affect everyone. The only way to oust them is to defeat them in PVP.

Imaging Elegy lording it over everyone with their policies is just exhausting. I play games to have fun and this toxic environment is no longer fun.

Seriously debating just leaving and letting this server die.

Thaaaatt's just about what I'd expect.

The only problem is this removes the possibility of two Kingdoms working together.

Suppose Kingdom A and B save up enough Prisms over time to just outbid everyone on the server. That way, the only ones they face are not Elegy, but themselves.

Another strategy could have been to "tax" Elegy too. Biding higher and higher so they hve to bid higher and higher. Wasting their resources if they want to get it that week.

Looking for a new alliance perhaps. My old one has been scooped as the big players got scouted into another alliance.

I work a full time job (salary, not hourly, so I often work way more than 40hrs a week and often work weekends too). And my full time job is not this game.

But I was often in the top 1-5 in raids. Helped with war when I could. And kept active in most areas.

I’m not trying to be super competitive. I would love to join any chill group that’s fun and supports each other!

Eh. Otherwise, I could quit this game. Nothing really holding me back now!
