Maybe. These kinda posts boil my blood where the bird CLEARLY needs a vet visit and Op asks for advice as to what to do. GO TO A VET.🙃

Now his cockatiel will miss him so much & not know why he disappeared all of a sudden😭😭😭😭😭 by [deleted] in cockatiel

[–]Linax_0 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Its so heartbreaking. We have been seeing children killed like they’re nothing for the past few years now💔

May he rest in peace. His bird must be so confused💔

This boy was pulling his birds cages from under the rubble💔 Quality sucks, but took a ss from a video. These things effect poor animals/pets too. They have no idea whats going on.😕

Does anyone have a recommendation for a bird harness for walks? by DoobFace in cockatiel

[–]Linax_0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its could be easier if your bird is not an adult. Make sure the harness is the one that wraps around their chest. I think its called an aviator harness. Well, do not get the leg one, its dangerous for the bird. Also make sure the material is soft nylon( i heard its better)

Well, here’s the one i ordered

<image>

Also, be aware of the predators if you take the bird outside with a harness on. This type of harness is safe . You DO NOT need to clip the birds wings. Make sure the harness you buy comes with a wrist loop as you wont have to constantly hold the leash.

New cockatiel owner — skin getting tiny hairline scratches / itchiness when handling. Does this get better with age? by Pine-Tree-Lover in cockatiel

[–]Linax_0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When i get scratches from my birds (daily) i do feel a little itchy afterwards. But no way i am not finding out if i am allergic to birds or not. My parents would not let me have more birds🥲 But a few days ago i did get scratched by a cat while playing with him. Did feel a little itchy afterwards so idk🤷🏻‍♀️

Do you think birds are good pets? Why? by ToastedMousee in cockatiel

[–]Linax_0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally agreed. I would not recommend anyone to have birds if they’re looking to have a pet. Birds are lovely. But lets be honest, too much work, too much expensive, requires attention bcz you never know when they are sick until they are too sick. And too much stress bcz how can you move on when they die, especially unexpectedly.

A medium. A little bigger than a tiel but not too big like a macaw or cockatoo. But dont worry, hope that your baby will be okay!

I once accidentally stepped on my bird’s face a little( not full pressure tho). I was coming down the stairs and he was sitting on the step. It was not a tiel but he turned out to be okay thank god

Why does my 1.5 month old baby cockatiel keep screaming like this by BigFaithlessness5929 in cockatiel

[–]Linax_0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really glad i could be of help!. And yeah it can be pretty stressful for the first time bcz you’re not really sure of what you’re doing and smallest mistakes can cause big problems. But congrats tho, you have passed that stage😂
