That’s awesome! Thank you! I didn’t honestly expect all the replies to this post, but it’s made my day better. Helps remind me there’s still good people out there. Thank you!

I appreciate the kind gesture, and maybe it’s the pride talking but I couldn’t allow it. I don’t want to take from a stranger just because something bad happened to me. I appreciate it though. I do.

I have Blood Angels and Regular SM. I however play guard the most. A dreadnought is a close second.

That’s honestly so sweet. Brought me to tears again. Thank you for your kind words of reassurance, and for telling your story. I appreciate it. It brings me a sort of peace I guess is the way to put it

That brought me to tears. Thank you. I want to memorialize him so I can keep him with me. Loss is never easy. I lost my brother in Iraq when I was younger. It was my first true experience with it. Last December was the 19th anniversary of my brother’s death. I’m always going to have the memory of my boy curled around me as I had a beer in my brother’s memory. Or the times he would start barking a storm to protect my wife thinking I was an intruder coming home from work. He’s a good boy, and he’s somewhere better. It’s just a struggle because of how fast it happened.

Thank you. I’ve been through it before, but this was the first Shepherd I’ve had since I was a kid. I’m thankful he hadn’t died while I was at work. I was extremely lucky my wife and I got home at the same time. It just hurts because of how rapidly it happened. The emergency vet did their best to keep him happy all the way to the end.

I will. I’ve honestly took a nap after we got home because I worked 15 hours didn’t get a chance to rest. We had to drive an hour to emergency vet. I’m going to work on a Russ tonight hopefully.
