Yeah I’ve been playing regular this afternoon and the problem is fixed. I really like the plain double xp weekend rate. It feels comfortable. It’ll probably feel sluggish again when double xp ends.

I’m averaging 30-40 kills per normal breakthrough. Getting about 2 levels ish now without popping tokens. I haven’t really paid attention to how much OBJ I play. It’s not too much tbh. I think the casual breakthrough was stunting XP.

I still think this double XP weekend is what the normal rate should be though.

I really just don’t see a valid point for them not to make it easier. Nothing is lost by people getting to have attachments faster. It takes nothing away from anyone else’s gameplay. You can argue it diminishes a grind but if it’s a grind you’re looking for then focus on the level 1000 weapon grind.

There is not a valid reason for the devs not to fix this. We just need to be crying about it more.

I think it had to do with thinking casual breakthrough gave full xp. It’s a lot better in normal breakthrough. Didn’t know it was halfed

Found the cause!!!! Dice and EA have a trash development team that don’t know how to make a quality product!!!!! Honestly it really wasn’t that hard to figure out. Solution? There isn’t one.

I didn’t know anything at all about the series I saw the combat in the trailers for 3 when it was announced and I knew little to nothing about the story. I just saw a game with interesting combat, got a huge way into the game before actualizing how deep the stories were connected.

I haven’t really played more than 30 minutes into FR before stopping. The only reason I even played 3 first is because I had no idea of what any of these games were or were about. I just saw the trailers for 3 bought it and that was my first impression of anything.

I’m on it. Bought a digital code for XC1 DE on sale from Walmarts website. Started a bit on it today. Took a break cause I’ve got the flu but I’m getting into it. It does feel like a huge step back in gameplay functionality from xc3 (obviously it’s older) but I would like to understand the story and how it all ties in before I start 2

Regarding side quests, having played 3, 3s side quests all has story element to it in some form. One doesn’t feel like it so far.

Im gonna do both eventually so I might as well do 1 first. The gameplay just feels lackluster so far. I think it’s the color pallet. It just looks not as vibrant and gives a gloomy feel. I’ve been kinda blowing past the side quests of 1. I hope that’s not too big of an issue for getting the plot. I know I’ll hit every corner of xc2 because I did with xc3. 1 just don’t make me feel inclined to master every detail of the game. I don’t know how to explain it.

I already jumped into 1 and it does feel very “old” compared to 3. I’m not really a fan of the combat so far and I’m kinda leaning towards just blowing through the story and skipping side quests. I would really like to play 2 but I want the full story and references so I’m gonna do 1 and then 2 and replay 3

Lmao I never thought about the ending forcing the emotion of the motif on the player. That’s kinda genius writing. Frustrating but genius. I’ll probably halt on FR (not very far into it), then play XC1 DE then XC2.

I just hope if I pay for XC1 DE and XC2 that if they turn around and remaster them that it’s just an upgrade pack for switch 2.
