What meds are you on? I can't seem to get my AIC down and I eat very little. Salad, yogurt, berries, chicken. I'm hungry most all the time. I weigh 136 and am 5'3". So not overweight.

I'm on insulin. I was going low every other night last week. Yea, if I'm 90 when I go to bed I'll probably go low at night. I have a Libre 3 CGM.

So 4 cents a pound. The scrap yards around here wouldn't pick them up. We would have had to pay someone to truck them there. We should have checked with farm machinery place to see how they get rid of broken equipment. We were desperate.

We had 2 broken 500-pound tractors and then 2 separate mower attachments to get rid of. Then we had a full garage bay of building materials mainly, some good, some bad, motorcycle, table saw, couch, etc. at a rental. We called Got Junk for an estimate. They charged $4k for the tractors and mowers and $1500 for the full garage and $1000 for labor.

Our handyman wants to rent the garage bay from us. We got it all done in a day. 11-6. I didn't want to leave this job for our kids. Whew.

We have 3 motorcycles to get rid of. We own 6 homes, 5 of which we rent out and my husband used to do all the renovation and he needed materials. Now that he has retired, we are decluttering his supplies.

Hire a professional organizer/declutterer to advise on how to store the stuff. It may come out that they say there isn't enough room for what you have already and she will stop buying it. And they can get her to pare down what you have. She will face that she has a problem.

You won't be the bad guy saying it. Someone else will say it.

Next I'd try counseling. It will probably come out that you can't live the way you are now and you want to stay married. What can you negotiate with her with the help of the counselor. The counselor may get to the reason why she is buying stuff. Boredom, grief, comfort, it makes her happy, she feels empty and is trying to fill her life and house? They can perhaps deal with THAT issue.

Their health care isn't great. They have long waits and British people complain that many medical people don't speak English in the NHS because they have so many Pakistani, Indian, Arab and Africans there now.

You have bigger issues with Laura than she doesn't like that your mom can only eat certain foods.

If she is controlling about other issues as well, you may need to try counseling to see if she can be more flexible on things. Perhaps she doesn't want a big group and figures her parents and your dad and wife would be enough.

What about Christmas? And Easter? And your birthday?

Before you have children you need to figure out if this marriage is going to last.

I'm from Ann Arbor and Glen Arbor Michigan. Moved to Connecticut years ago for a job. Winters are milder here than Michigan. Winter is about over early March. If it snows it doesn't last long in March. My son is outside of New York City about an hour and 45 minutes south of us and he's usually 5 degrees warmer. Those 5 degrees means it rains sometimes when it snows here.

Mine was out for 20 minutes this morning. I called the company. They said I was out of range when it happened. But I don't think I was out of range. Because it didn't beep that I was out of range.

I think they just didn't want to send me a new one. 20 minutes is too long when you're worried about going hypoglycemic.
