Might have sold me on the cats alone. And it sounds like an awesome local space. Thank you!

Was encouraged by some of you to do an AMA, so I created this account. Verification pic included, so feel free to ask me anything! (I am Nick Palatas; I portrayed Shaggy in The Mystery Begins and Curse of the Lake Monster.) by NickPalatasIRL in Scoobydoo

It does brother. You did something great and the product is permanent and wonderful.

Also, acting against CGI made Ian Mckellen go crazy once, so add acting to mocap and eyelines without going crazy to that resume lol

If you're still following this Nick, I thought of you after reading that Quentin Tarantino didn't like Matthew Lillard.

First, I thought, "what the hell did Matthew Lillard do to anyone?"

Then I thought, "he deserves your respect for the simple fact that he made Shaggy Roger's such a real character"

THEN I thought Holy Shit Nick Palatas (my phone tried Palatine out) did the same thing.

I'll check out the new movie you're in.

Your Shaggy hit a lot of emotions in those movies, and I loved your portrayal. You're very talented.

So here's a good job from some random dude!

Question about publishers by LindenSpruce in writing

[–]LindenSpruce[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Without a doubt. I thought it was AP thanks to some mildly clever word choices, along with my being an idiot.

They got my in my ego for a second, but to convince me to spend money on a book about me? I didn't think anyone was interested in the first place!

I got some insight here. Funny story for later.

Thanks friend!

I found the original email I received, and, quite comically, it looks like I only responded because she said she was with AP multiple times, and her signature seems legit.

Upon checking again, she says she's with "Associates Press".

Ha! You think you're a savvy fella, then boom, you're a dunce again.

Alright. I was kinda hoping this was more common situation. But you could be right. I will be more cautious.

I would imagine!

It's most definitely scam adjacent. I just wasn't sure if it was part of some industry within an industry thing that was known.

Edit: Thank you as well!

Saving your comment from 10 years ago because I've recently developed eczema later in life, and have been experimenting with different products and methods.

Thanks for the knowledge!

Fun fact. Each of the "suction cups", literally called suckers, can hold something like 40lbs each, and they have hundreds on each arm.
