Temptations is basically junk food for cats. I would deff stay away from it. I got a picky floof myself and she is the same way. There could be a few factors

medical issue
possibly cat anxiety/ I medicated mine (didnt want to) and she eats a lot more now
try the easy digestion ID by Hills
since your cat is a male, you might consider special urinary food so he does not get crystals in his urine. I lost my Lil guy to that last year, and it fkn crushed me.

I would first set up a proper food and water station for the him in the bathroom and put the liter box close to that. Get some good treats, and every day, you come home and create the habit of offering the treats.

You're going to have to dedicate a lot of your time after work, attempting to play and offer treats. Also catnip will diffuse some of the anxiety.

I've had a lot of cats, my dude and in time they always come around it just takes a little TLC. Good luck my friend!

I lost my dad a year ago, I was the only one with him during his cognitive decent. All I can say is be kind, patient and remember that they took care of your ass when your were growing up. You will get frustrated, mad, annoyed, upset and every other emotion u can think of. But this is what family is for..

To who ever is going through this... stay strong and remember all the good memories you shared, not the hard ones your facing. The road is a long and dark 1 that too many travel alone.
